Hello my name is donbasik and I'm a botter...
thanks to @addrandomuser for bringing the situation to the public in this article:
https://app.warera.io/article/69d0e69fa1251c69ef9ea9cd
First, I want to address the most important accusation:
My country and its government had absolutely nothing to do with this. They didn't know about it and had no profit from it. I donated around 50 gold to my country in total.
Saying that "botted gold is fueling the Ukrainian side against the Turks" is simply not true.
I didn't make any significant profit from this – everything I earned was reinvested into my own factories, which I only upgraded to around level 5. I didn't donate these earnings to my country or MU.
Any claims about a large scale impact on the game are not rly accurate. It was entirely my own initiative.
All the logs are available in profile.
Now I want to address the situation and apologize.
I started playing only 25 days ago, and I genuinely enjoyed the game from the very beginning. And of course I wanted to learn the best strategies to develop quickly – and the most obvious one was the Item Market: buy items cheaper, sell them for a profit.
Many players don't check the stats on their items and list them at the lowest price possible — that's where the opportunity for profit comes in :)
For several weeks, I traded manually, spending all days on the market. But since I'm a programmer, I eventually decided to write a script to do it for me, especially since the game has an open API.
I didn't knew that this kind of activity was not allowed in WarEra, because in many other games and platforms, similar tools exist and are widely used (like Path of Exile or Eve Online), so I didn't think it would be an issue.
I only learned recently that this was against the rules and that WarEra allows bots for monitoring purposes only.
I understand that what I did was wrong, and I take full responsibility for my actions.
I sincerely apologize to the community for this. And I'm sorry if my actions made anyone feel worse about the game or it's community, I didn't want that.

My fate is now in the hands of the admins, and I will accept whatever decision they make. If I'm allowed to continue playing, I promise not to use any scripts or automation of any kind. If the decision is a ban – I accept that too.
I'm also willing to share all the technical details I've discovered during this process. To be honest, the current API security is too vulnerable, and I'd be happy to help improve it. I hope this information could be of value for strengthening the game's defenses against similar activities in the future.
Thank you for your attention, and Happy Easter.
