Citizens of Armenia,

The ballots have been counted, and the will of the republic is clear.

I. A New President Takes the Helm

Few names carry as much weight on the front line as this one. Leadership in the field and leadership of a nation are not the same thing, but they are built from the same material: discipline, endurance, and the refusal to leave anyone behind.

Armenia has just placed its future in hands that have already proven all three.

To President-elect Revy: the office is yours. The republic is watching, and the republic believes in you.

II. A Word of Farewell

I write to you today for the last time as outgoing President.

It has been the honor of my life to serve this nation - first at https://app.warera.io/user/69b7686e15e0a5fbe5a1a35a's side, then at this desk. I leave it with no regrets and with full confidence, because I know precisely into whose hands I am placing it.

Guard the borders as you have always guarded your unit. Watch the wolf as carefully as you have watched every flank. And remember, as I have tried to remember every day in this office: the strength of Armenia was never the President's to claim.

It belongs to the soldiers, the ministers, and the citizens who carry this republic on their backs, election after election, battle after battle.

I step aside gladly, and I step aside proud.

III. To the Republic

To every citizen who voted, who campaigned, who simply kept faith in this small nation through fire and frost - thank you, once more and always.

To President Revy: good luck. Armenia is fortunate to have you, and I have no doubt at all that you will lead it further than any of us imagined when a handful of comrades first arrived here from a toxic Namibia to build something free.

The wolf is patient.

Armenia is more patient still.

And now Armenia marches under new leadership - the same spirit, a new hand at the wheel.
