Many have asked: Why did Libya attack Burkina Faso, Portugal's proxy?
The answer is simple.
Portugal had previously occupied Libya under the pretext that it needed our territory as a corridor to reach our Egyptian brothers. When history records such a precedent, it is only natural for us to treat any similar situation as a real threat, not a distant possibility.
We are not willing to stand by and wait for history to repeat itself. The existence of a state acting as Portugal's proxy gives Libya every right to take the measures it considers necessary to protect its national security. That is why we chose a preemptive strike.
We firmly believe that history repeats itself. Those who attacked us yesterday may attempt to attack us again tomorrow, and those who once occupied our land may try to do so again if given the opportunity.
As for those claiming that Libya used heavy equipment or acted without coordination, let me say this: the Libyan people were eager for this battle and entered it with determination and strength. What you have seen so far is only a small fraction of our capabilities. We still have much more in reserve.
Finally, instead of counting our mistakes, gather your people who are scattered across proxy states under one government and one nation. Show your strength by standing together as a single country that fights for itself, rather than relying on proxy states. Only then will the war be a fair contest between two nations, not one nation facing a network of proxy governments.
