Official Statement to the Colombian Citizens.

Today we speak with our heads held high and our hearts steadfast. Colombia has proven, once again, that no nation is doomed when its people choose to rise with dignity, discipline, and hope. We have gone through difficult times, moments of pressure and uncertainty, but the will of our people proved stronger than any attempt to impose silence or resignation upon us.

To those who for so long tried to convince us that we would remain subdued, today the answer needs no shouting: history has spoken for itself. Grand speeches are unnecessary when the facts are undeniable. Colombia remains standing—free, organized, and determined to write its own destiny.

We wish to express our deepest gratitude to our alliances, whose support was decisive in this process of liberation, and to every citizen who never lowered their arms, who kept morale alive, and who defended the nation with loyalty and commitment. This victory does not belong to a government or a single name; it belongs to an entire people who understood that the homeland is honored through participation, resilience, and building together.

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter. Not a chapter of revenge, but of reconstruction. Not a chapter of hatred, but of character. Colombia does not look toward the future with resentment, but with the conviction that its greatness is defended through unity, intelligence, and collective effort.

Let it be clear to all: a nation that learns to resist also learns to prevail. And Colombia has chosen to prevail.
