Recently recovered Swedish military documents reveal that Swedish military planning has continued despite the country already being occupied.
Military analysts reviewing the material expected to find resistance strategies.
Instead they found additional phases.
Experts say Swedish battle planning appears to operate on a simple principle:
When something fails, add another phase.
Swedish civilians were instructed to interfere with Dutch occupation forces whenever possible.
Observed incidents include:
a Swedish resident standing in front of a Dutch armored vehicle explaining that the tank’s appearance could be considered culturally insensitive
several locals politely explaining to Dutch soldiers that bicycles are stupid and they are stupid for using them
one elderly Swedish man measuring a Dutch tank with a tape measure and declaring it too wide for the street
Dutch forces reportedly stopped the vehicle.
The tank is still waiting for approval.
Swedish resistance units began issuing official complaint forms to Dutch occupation forces.
The forms were distributed to Dutch soldiers regarding the following incidents:
speaking Dutch loudly in a public place
standing far too close to a Swedish person at a bus stop
attempting to start a conversation with a stranger
Several Dutch officers attempted to ignore the forms.
One Swedish citizen filed a complaint about that as well.
Swedish forces also attempted to weaken Dutch morale.
Observed tactics included:
repeatedly reminding Dutch soldiers that the Netherlands is technically underwater
repeatedly asking Dutch officers if growing up in such a flat country has made them flat-earthers
one Swedish soldier placing a small sign next to a puddle reading “future Netherlands.”
Dutch command described the tactic as “unnecessarily cruel.”
One final note appears in the margin of the recovered battle plans.
The note reads:
“if they look confused, continue.”
Dutch forces are currently extremely confused.
Swedish command described this development as “encouraging.”
