Taiwanese Welcome Article - Reflections from the Sunset

Being benign in a war game is questionable. Ha. If only.

Schizophrenia patient here, watching as the sun sets. Have fun!

... I suppose that an update to the Taiwanese welcome article is in order. Though I'm too lazy to actually type it out in Chinese, I can probably explain the current situation better if I ramble about it in English.

Welcome!

Welcome to Taiwan, or something!

Right now, you've conveniently landed in a war of two amalgamations of alliances, PABLO and CULO, the specifics of which you probably needn't worry yourselves with. All you should know is that you're in CULO, you're allied (the blue boundary around the flags indicates an alliance, by the way) to CULO, and PABLO is the "big bad" of the game or whatever. Or is it us for squandering on their right to create a large-scale alliance? I don't know if I have lived long enough to become the villain.

Taiwan is in a... situation. While there exists no direct battles with PABLO nations, fellow CULO members are in a different environment. Perhaps you might be incentivized to jump directly in battle or even, use those "skill points" of yours to increase your damage output. And I can relate! Trying to maximize your damage to help out is a pure-hearted approach, yet, as a new player, you're... probably not making a dent in those battles with millions of units of damages. Or is it just "millions of damages"? Anyhow, what you want to do is instead build up a large bank of coins, equipment, and other shit like ammo, food, and pills. Two energy and 1 production point seems to be the key idea; and, provided that your first company isn't limestone (you're going to see some annoying tutorial thing; anyhow, you can hover over the item in the company to see what you're producing), you want to rectify that by... changing your company into limestone. You may need to buy 5 concrete for that, but it's a worthwhile investment. Getting that second company you are to invest in is better than producing wheat or whatever.

I should probably stop musing about FarmEra and instead yap about actually doing damage. Don't worry about any attacking skills until you hit the point where you have enough skill points to do reasonable damage, but even if you're not invested into dealing damage, you can still contribute to your country! If you click/tap on a battle, you can quite literally press the support button (provided that you have enough health) to quite literally do some damage. Won't be too much, but a sizable amount. Eventually, when you have accrued enough shit, you can switch to damage-oriented builds and do some real damage or something.

Perhaps a caution is in order. If you're new, AVOID PUTTING SKILLS INTO BOTH ECONOMIC AND ATTACKING SKILLS. YOUR ECONOMY WILL BE SHIT, YOUR DAMAGE WILL BE SHIT. Just, please don't. The exception is companies, but even then, your companies will be disabled if you have too many to fit your skills, and you don't want to put too many skill points into your companies or your damage output will suck.

Cases are fun since gambling is fun. Increased cases from damage is nice, but all your ammo and food evaporate into thin air anyway, so it's not like being an attack build forever is sustainable. You can still accumulate cases by hitting in damages if you're economy-based, and, in the worst case scenario, you can just buy them. Everything is overpriced right now as per the current wartime environment, but nevertheless, you can survive.

Also, loot chance is a scam. Don't invest in it.

I do maintain the stance that we're happy to accept any newcomers to our community. You can interact with our discord here or simply type in country chat (there exists a left-side menu with chats!). I suppose the community takes up like 90% of this game, but, with all the friendly and unfriendly banter and trash talk aside, the game really does not take much of your time. You can literally spend 5 minutes on this game every day and still function with no problem. <3

More Ramblings

Actually I lied, there are no more ramblings.
