I hope you guys take the time to read this letter of mine.
27 hours from now we'll have our second congress elections since our baby boom. Thank you to all 25 of you who got elected into government last month.
And thank you again to the remaining 20 members that managed to complete their terms in government.
That aside, despite all the work we have done in April, one thing I noticed was how most of our congressmembers weren't really active when it came to voting on laws.
There were times we had to wait several hours to pass one law, meanwhile countries way larger than us could pass laws within 1-2 hours, despite having way more members than us.
Apart from that, most of you guys didn't propose that many laws or put much effort towards foreign diplomacy, and when you look at the laws proposed, it was mostly me and GroxEmpire doing most of the effort. Just look at the logs.
I hate to LARP, but being elected to congress is not just a title, it comes with responsibilities. Voting on laws is the bare minimum expected from every member. If countries with larger congress can do things quicker than us, then the issue is not size, it is participation.
Moving into this next term, expectations need to be clear. I hope every congressmember can be more involved, whether that’s proposing laws, and or, voting on them, or contributing to foreign diplomacy.
We cannot afford another term where the responsibility falls on just 3-4 people.
If this level of inactivity continues, then we will need to seriously reconsider how we define participation and eligibility within the congress.
We have the potential to be efficient, organized, and respected, but that only happens if everyone does their part. The next term is our opportunity to prove that.
Lastly, and probably the most embarrassing part.

Kysely has done a great job at calling these Indo cheaters out, not just the congressmembers, but the other non gov cheaters, botters, and multi makers from our country.
This is a serious issue, regarding not just cheating, but integrity that cannot be ignored. These people have made an embarrassment out of us in a very bad way.
I've personally reported a lot of these cases, because this kind of behavior undermines the legitimacy of our country as a whole.
It diminishes our credibility in the eyes of other countries. If we expect to be taken seriously in foreign diplomacy, then our internal systems must be credible and trustworthy.
If we allow stuff like this to happen and go unchecked, then the credibility of our country itself comes into question.
I could make a list of the non government members I reported as well, but I won't address them here cuz that's not the point of this letter.
