It is with great pleasure that I publish my first article today as the Official Minister of Foreign Affairs. Im honored by the trust placed in me and I'm setting to work diligently.
Madagascar is a proud and sovereign nation. We are an African nation, and we operate with an absolute African-First agenda.
I. A GLOBAL CORRIDOR: UNITY OVER DIVISION
While our historical foundations were laid by the vision and hard work of our Australian founding fathers, Madagascar has evolved into a truly global coalition. Today, our borders house a dedicated population made up of Madagascans, and citizens from African countries, European countries, South America, Australia, and all over the world.
In a world that is so often built on the back of division, friction, and tribalism, Madagascar stands as the absolute opposite. We are entirely united. We work together seamlessly despite our multinational backgrounds and cultural differences. We have proven that different minds from every corner of the map can gather under a single flag to build a stable, active, and highly disciplined community.
II. THE AFRICAN-FIRST TRAJECTORY
As we look toward the future, our administration is calculating a long-term trajectory that matches the geopolitical realities of our region. We have formulated comprehensive plans for regional development that are fully focused on elevating the continent.
Our explicit resolve is to actively strengthen our relationships with our neighbors across Africa. We possess deep respect and appreciation for Africa's core values, its incredible potential, and the strategic importance it holds on the world stage. We see the growth of our continent as the blueprint for our own success, and we intend to align our economic and defensive vectors to support that absolute stability.
III. THE POWER OF INFLUENCE
Madagascar does not hide from the data, geographically and numerically, we are a compact nation. But let no one mistake size for weakness. We are small, however, we hold undeniable strategic influence. Through our high-density community activity, our geographical positioning, and our institutional discipline, we possess the leverage to alter regional balances. We welcome any cooperative requests or collaborative initiatives from our continental neighbors where Madagascar can make ourselves useful to the greater long-term vision of Africa.
THE VERDICT
Madagascar is no longer a quiet island drifting in isolation. We are an active sovereign player with a clear continental identity. We are ready to work, ready to cooperate, and ready to deploy our influence alongside our neighbors to ensure our corner of the world thrives.
Our doors are open, our focus is locked, and our African-First agenda is officially underway.
