SORLANDET. After a day of fierce fighting, it can now be confirmed: Ostlandet has been liberated.

Norwegian forces, supported by their allies in the legendary B.E.E.R Alliance, pushed Dutch forces back across a broad front. Witnesses describe Dutch soldiers abandoning position after position as Norwegian flags were raised over villages, farms, and petrol stations all over Sorlandet.

- They had no chance,says a Norwegian commander while parking his tractor in front of the fields.

According to several unconfirmed reports, the Dutch leadership sent desperate distress calls to its international financiers. Sources claim Dutch representatives begged and pleaded for more money, more loans, and possibly even discount coupons from Egyptian venture capitalists.

- It wasn’t pretty. They cried at the Egyptians’ feet, says a source who claims to have witnessed the incident through binoculars from a safe distance.

Despite repeated pleas, no miracle came. The front collapsed, and the B.E.E.R Alliance forces continued their advance.
