“All authority derives from the citizens of the Republic of eSerbia and is exercised in their name and in accordance with the Constitution.”

For a long time, states within WarEra have survived through loyalty, personal trust, temporary governments, and the determination of individuals willing to keep their communities alive through difficult times.
Today, the Republic of eSerbia takes a different step.
Today, the Republic chooses to live!
After weeks of drafting, revisions, discussion, and constitutional work, the Constitution of the Republic of eSerbia has been formally presented before the citizens of the Republic.
This document was not written as a symbolic gesture, nor as a simple roleplay project.
It was written with the belief that a state should be capable of surviving beyond a single administration, beyond a single election, and beyond a single generation of players.
Because governments may change.
Parties may rise and fall.
Wars may come and go.
But the Republic must remain.

The Constitution establishes, for the first time in the history of our modern community, a unified constitutional framework defining the authority of the government, the rights of citizens, the role of Congress, the responsibilities of the President, the independence of the Constitutional Court, the neutrality of the Armed Forces, the continuity of state institutions, freedom of the press, diplomacy, diaspora affairs, emergency powers, constitutional amendments, and the legal foundations of the Republic itself.
For the first time, the Republic possesses not only a government, but a constitutional order.
Not only leadership, but institutions.
Not only authority, but limitations upon authority.
Every article within the Constitution exists for a single reason:
To ensure that the Republic shall endure!
