Jailing a journalist during wartime is obviously dangerous. How else are we supposed to get the War Era™ breaking news?
If the dev bans a journalist, suddenly nobody knows what happened. Was it a bug? A balance change? Did someone get nuked? Was the update actually good? We may never know.
Journalists exist to report the facts, expose suspicious activity, and annoy the developers with questions. Without them, War Era risks becoming a lawless wasteland where everyone has to rely on rumors.
So remember: don’t jail the journalists.
They have families.
They have sources.
They have a keyboard.
