My last article was about WarEra being a passive game. This article is about coping with it.
At some point every WarEra player develops the same gameplay loop: change tabs, click work, click produce, click hit, check the market, and then wait for the bars to fill up again. The ideal companion game is one where you won't even notice the time passing until you tab back into WarEra and discover you're now level 50, producing thousands of tons of steel and dealing millions of damage.
The metrics I will be using are:
Playerbase and interests overlap – How likely a WarEra player is to enjoy the game.
Replayability – Can it be played endlessly?
Combination of subjective and objective rating – How much I enjoyed it and how good the game is overall.

great game design to make you want the next tank the next plane automatically engages you with that part of mil history (or naval but no one plays naval)
blah blah you get it map game definitely most played category offers more dynamic map sim game higher dopamine release
A surprising amount of WarEra's audience seems to come from Roblox military groups, nation roleplay communities, and economy focused games. The overlap is much larger than most people would expect
some really good games would be tower defense simulator, dead rails- zombies and trains, demonology
10/10 would larp as a king again and build muh kingdom easy to sink in hours and care about what all you built sandboxish so stuff goes different not much to say need to play more
The odd one out. No tanks, no maps, no industrial complexes. Yet it attracts the same optimization-focused personality that enjoys squeezing every last percentage point out of a production chain. Also capable of making three hours disappear instantly
Terraria – Great game, different audience
ARK – Too survival focused my most played game but the monkeys here arent sophisticated enough here to put it on list
Crossout – Decent overlap, didn't make the cut
Cyberpunk 2077 – Not replayable enough for this list
Generic Shooter Slop – I don't like these beat csgo monkeys with bats
World of Tanks – War Thunder won the coin flip plus never played
