đŸ”„THE EFFICIENT SOLDIER: A TL;DR FIELD GUIDE 📄

RockrigoDePaulNovember 28, 2025guide

After last month’s “5 Truths” fiasco (heavy ammo merchants are still sending me edible arrangements shaped like middle fingers), I was “politely invited” to release a more responsible, fact-based guide for soldiers. So here it is: the stripped-down, caffeine-shaky, trench-tested TL;DR on how to be an efficient soldier.

â˜Żïž Stats: The Sacred Math

Look, I won’t sugarcoat it: the gods of War Era blessed us with a leveling system that feels like budgeting for rent.

The stat priority is:
Attack > Hunger and Precision (only up to lvl 4 or 5) > Armor, Dodge and Crit Chance > Crit Damage.

These are the seven pillars of damage dealing.

Rule Zero:
Your skill point budget for each of these stats is half your level.

The Actual TLDRℱ:

  • Level all 7 key stats using your budget (Precision and Hunger can stay at level 4).

  • Put 1–2 extra levels into Attack (it’s the cheap damage king stat). If you still have +10 points maybe put one more into Armor, Dodge or Crit Chance.

  • Add 1-2 levels to HP, more than that is a waste.

  • Throw the rest into whatever you like: eco skills or loot.

Example (Lvl 20 soldier):

  • Budget: 10 points

  • Cost to raise a stat to lvl 4: 10 points

  • Raise all seven “important” stats to lvl 4

  • You’ll have about 10 points left

  • Spend them like this:

    • +1 Attack (spends 5)

    • +1 HP (spends 1)

    • Use the last few points to put one each in : company limit, production, energy and loot.

Congratulations: you’re no longer stat-illiterate.

Helmets have been buffed. Yes, the very items I once described as “crit-damage-flavored disappointment.” They’re now reasonably good — not mind-blowing, but definitely worth building. I will not, however, retract my previous statements. They were true at the time, and besides, the memes were worth it.

💾 Gear & Consumables: What Actually Matters

Your weapon is everything.
If you can’t afford a good gun, you’re basically a tourist on the battlefield.

Minimum recommended gear:

  • Weapon: M4

  • Armor set: green, 9–10% (twice that for helmets)

Consumables:

  • Food: Fish if you can afford it. Meat if you can’t.

  • Ammo: Green bullets, always.

    • Exception: tanks or stronger gear sets → purple bullets are worth it.

  • Pill: Only when your bars are full and you won’t need to fight after 6+ hours.
    Taking pills at the wrong time is how rookie soldiers end up writing apology notes.

At this point in the article, the crafting community has already DM’d me 14 spreadsheets, 3 threat assessments, and one very generous donation. So to avoid another diplomatic incident: yes, we’re talking about crafting next.

🔹 Crafting: The Wealth of Nations (Or At Least Of Your Hit Chance)

Here’s the part the crafting lobby didn’t pay me to say:

Crafting gear is insanely good.

Spam craft whatever rarity you can realistically afford —
my recommendation: Blue (rare).

Then follow the sacred ritual:

  • Dismantle or sell anything below average

    • For blue gear, that means under 13%

  • If you end up with a pile of gloves because RNG hates you?
    Sell or dismantle extras. No hoarding. This is not medieval capitalism.

Crafting = progress.
Dismantling = therapy.
Selling = rent money.

📜 FINAL THOUGHTS

This is the distilled truth, without the scandalized sparkles or the pill-company conspiracies — though PhishPharmaℱ did try to bribe me with a coupon code again.

If you follow this guide, you’ll:

  • Hit harder

  • Eat better

  • Waste less

  • And most importantly, you will stop donating damage to the enemy.

You can still donate your gold to me though, my tip crit chance is 100%.
