Following our first article [1] breaking down the core features of update v0.26 "The World Gets Real," it's time to dive straight into the system that redefines warfare: Logistics, Travel, and Supply Lines.
In the current version of WarEra, joining a battle on the other side of the planet takes a single click. That era ends with v0.26. From now on, positioning on the map determines where you can fight, making travel calculations and resource management essential for military success.
Map movement is now governed by the new Stamina Bar, which serves as your primary fuel for traveling between regions.
Cap & Regeneration: Every player receives a Stamina bar capped at 100 points, regenerating passively at ~10 points per hour.
Distance Scaling: Movement consumes roughly 1 Stamina point per 100 km.
Practical Example: Relocating your character across a 4,000 km distance consumes 40 Stamina points (equivalent to 4 hours of passive regeneration).
Free Home Travel: To help you rebase quickly, you can travel back to your designated Home Region for free once every 12 hours directly from your avatar profile on the map.
What happens when your 100 Stamina is completely depleted and an urgent war breaks out? This is where Oil takes center stage.
Once your Stamina hits zero, additional movement automatically drains Oil from your inventory as fallback fuel. This shift transforms Oil from a standard production commodity into a critical military asset.
Countries and Military Units (MUs) without strong Oil reserves or control over oil-producing regions will struggle to deploy troops quickly during emergency calls to arms.
The new logistics framework requires alliance leaders and unit commanders to rethink battlefield tactics:
Pre-Positioning Troops: Last-minute mass drops are a thing of the past. Commanders must anticipate conflict zones and order squad movements hours before major battles begin.
Single Active Revolt Rule: The update limits battles to a single active revolt per country-pair. This eliminates multi-revolt distractions, forcing both offensive and defensive forces to concentrate their logistics in one targeted area.
Map Exploration & Wooden Cases: As players travel across regions, random Wooden Cases will spawn on the map. Entering a region automatically collects these cases, granting random resource rewards and incentivizing active movement.
💡 Pro-Tip: Never run your Stamina down to zero during peacetime. Always maintain a buffer of 30–50 Stamina along with an emergency supply of Oil in your inventory so you are ready to deploy instantly when war breaks out!
