During Egypts first occupation of Sudan there was no Sudanese state yet Egypt basically got there first and claimed a blank spot on the map land with no existing government and no Sudanese state at all
But everything changed when the first Sudanese players showed up
With Egyptian help and experience Sudanese players started building their own state from the ground up and the new country slowly started taking shape and to be fair the early stage was not about hostility at all it was more like cooperation between allies
Sudan was not asking for a fight or a war it wanted one simple thing
Independence over land that its own people had started building and developing
And then
Egypt said no
For three months the new Sudanese government tried to solve everything through diplomacy
They negotiated
They waited
They went back to the negotiating table
Then they waited again
But when the other side is not willing to give anything up in the first place negotiations eventually hit a dead end
As Egypt kept refusing Sudanese leadership started realizing that continuing to negotiate with no results was getting them nowhere
As a final attempt Sudan asked for independence over just one small area
The Nuba Mountains
The Nuba Mountains were not the most valuable land in the game
They were not the most strategically important region
They did not have enough resources to make giving them up some kind of disaster for the Egyptian empire
The area even has a 25 percent attack penalty for anyone attacking from there without owning a capital
And yet Sudans request turned into a long negotiation that was almost ridiculous
At that point Sudanese leadership reached a clear conclusion
And that is when the decision was made that changed everything
Call in the allies

June 24 2026
Sudan did not jump into the war blindly
The leadership knew the odds were heavily against them
Egypt had more experience more players stronger alliances and more resources
That is why Sudan decided it could not afford to fight alone
Then the Beer Alliance led by Germany stepped in
This became the real war partnership between the two countries
The alliance did not start the crisis
The crisis had already been going on for three months before the alliance even existed
The Beer Alliance was simply the result of diplomacy failing
And once the alliance joined the war the whole balance started to shift
Round after round
Pressure after pressure
Until something nobody expected actually happened
Sudan was completely liberated
The country that was supposed to stay under Egyptian control broke free
And the side that looked weaker on paper ended up winning on the battlefield

The first defeat could have been a moment for Egypt to rethink its relationship with Sudan and its own interests
But no
Egypt saw what happened as a betrayal and decided it had to get revenge
And that is how the second occupation began
This time Egypt was not alone
A new alliance was formed
Egypt Libya and South Sudan acting as an Egyptian proxy
It was a three front attack launched at the same time
Analysts saw it as a smart move that caught the alliance off guard even though Sudans leadership had already expected the attack
And once again the same Egyptian excuses and propaganda came with the campaign
Peace
Stability
Regional protection
But the irony was obvious
After Egypt occupied Sudan and took control again negotiations started all over
The promises came back
Everyone started talking about new maps new borders and new arrangements
And then the same thing happened again
Waiting
Then more waiting
Then even more promises
Trust can be rebuilt after it breaks once
But when it breaks a second time every new promise becomes nothing more than words that need to be proven
And that is when Sudans leadership made its final call
No more negotiations with Egypt
From now on its war only

The second revolution was not a repeat of the first
This time Sudan had more experience
Its allies were more prepared
And with a new strategy built around attrition the operations began
Positions fell
Egyptian forces started pulling back
And the map slowly began to change
Until the breakthrough finally happened
Northern Sudan was liberated
This was no longer just about taking back land
It became a direct blow to Egypts regional empire project
Sudan had gone from a new country simply trying to secure its independence to a country capable of taking territory from a much stronger power
And once again the Beer Alliance proved its value
In the first revolution they stood with Sudan and helped completely liberate its territory
Then in the second revolution when Egypt came back with a much bigger coalition the alliance returned once again stood with Sudan and helped liberate the north and secure the victory
That is the kind of ally that proves its commitment through actions not promises
And that kind of ally deserves
Respect
Loyalty
Mutual interests
And most importantly not being thrown away because of short term thinking
For everyone saying Sudan is just a Western tool
Some people say Sudan only won because of the Beer Alliance and that relying on an ally is somehow a crime
Lets keep it simple
First Sudan and Egypt are not equal powers
Egypt has the advantage in experience player numbers alliance size resources and other strategic factors
The difference is obvious
So why should the weaker side be expected to fight the stronger side completely alone and then get blamed for looking for allies
Second Egypt uses alliances too
If asking allies for help is a sign of weakness then why does Egypt have active allies like the Netherlands and a large coalition of its own
If alliances are a sign of weakness then both sides are weak
Alliances are simply part of the game
Sudan did nothing unusual
It played the game the way it was meant to be played
And third this is the most important point
The Beer Alliance never made a single decision for Sudan
They did not decide when to negotiate
They did not decide when to fight
They did not decide when to stop the war
And they did not decide when to declare victory
The decisions were Sudanese from start to finish
Sudan chose the alliance
Sudan decided when to move from negotiations to revolution
Sudan set its own objectives
That is why calling Sudan a German proxy is a weak argument

After losing the north Egypt was left with only two choices
Reassess
Or escalate
It chose escalation
With tensions rising the Egyptian Defense Minister declared
The war is no longer an option it is a necessity
And the counterattack began
The plan was clear
Crush the revolution
Take back the lost territory
Restore Egyptian prestige
And spend whatever it took to make it happen
And that is exactly what happened
Resources were spent
Troops were drained
Allies were brought in
But the result was completely different from the speeches
The counterattack failed
And Egypt suffered heavy losses
While the military front was falling apart Egyptian economic statements sounded like they were coming from a completely different reality
The home front is holding strong
Then
The economy is stable
Meanwhile the treasury and the situation of ordinary citizens told a very different story
At that point a military defeat turned into a strategic crisis
The attack that was supposed to restore the empire to its former position only created more exhaustion
Every new round became more expensive than the one before it

King Barsis ๐ธ stood in front of his map
He looked at the lands that were once under his control
Then he looked at Northern Sudan
Then at the treasury
Then at the list of allies
And said:

Itโs not that Sudan is stronger than Egypt.
And itโs not that Egypt is weaker than Sudan.
Itโs that power alone isnโt enough.
A bigger country can still get worn down.
A smaller country can still hold the line.
An alliance can completely flip the balance of a war.
And one bad political decision can turn an easy victory into a long, exhausting war.
