The Presidential Briefing #12: Videlita (Tunisia)

BogoljubFebruary 7, 2026politics

Mr. President, thank you for joining us. Could you introduce yourself to the WarEra community and explain how you came to lead Tunisia?

Thank you for inviting me. My name is https://app.warera.io/user/681e20092efd62aba4281273, President of https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac84e, and I have been playing WarEra for about nine months.

My start was somewhat accidental. I was looking for my own path after being part of the first Congress in Argentina, which was quite chaotic. At the time, Tunisia was simply one of the few countries available on the African map. Since then, I have focused on doing my best as a leader and maintaining the sovereignty of this beautiful nation.

Tunisia is one of the smallest nations in WarEra in terms of player count, yet it continues to exist and matter. What has been the key to surviving with such limited numbers?

Our greatest weapon is persistence. From the moment we arrived, our players stood firm. We know we are small, but the commitment of our population turns this country into a real home. Everyone works hard just to keep it standing. That dedication is our true strength.

Geographically, Tunisia is positioned between far larger and more powerful empires. How does governing a country in such a strategic but vulnerable position shape your decision-making?

This is a very important question, because it has worked both for and against us. Being one of the main bridges between Africa and Europe has placed us in difficult situations more than once. On top of that, there is constant pressure knowing that even a small mistake could be exploited by a much larger nation.

Fortunately, I am not alone. My right-hand man, https://app.warera.io/user/6828fc80f55f9440c284aa53, helps me navigate highly complex decisions. We have always tried to be respectful toward our neighbors, resolving issues diplomatically and remaining open to dialogue.

Tunisia has maintained a close alliance with https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ba. What does this partnership mean for your country, and how important are trust and reliability when you cannot rely on numbers alone?

Serbia is one of the nations that treated us best, providing both military and diplomatic support without asking for anything in return. Today, true alliances are rare because of secret deals and constant shifts in loyalty. That makes their support priceless to us. We will never forget those who helped us when we needed it most.

With only around a dozen active players, every decision and every loss carries weight. How do you keep morale high and prevent burnout within such a small community?

Being few actually makes us more united. We share the same mindset and fight for the same interests. We support each other like a family and move forward as one. Surrendering was never and will never be an option.

Many players assume that influence in WarEra comes primarily from size. What would you say Tunisia’s experience proves about the role of diplomacy, timing, and credibility?

While population size is undeniably important, it is not everything. Even the strongest empire can fall into the wrong hands. Knowing how, when, and with whom to negotiate is crucial. Strong alliances and a solid reputation matter deeply. Despite disagreements along the way, we have always tried to remain on good terms with everyone, and that history has worked in our favor.

How do you balance caution and ambition when one wrong move could place Tunisia under immense pressure from surrounding powers?

We are not an expansionist nation by nature. Our primary goal has always been internal stability and calm. This approach has drawn criticism, but it is the path we chose to ensure survival. The real challenge is balancing this stability with our obligations to allies. Supporting friends can sometimes drag us into serious trouble, but it is a risk we calculate carefully.

What role do your allies play in Tunisia’s long-term survival strategy, and how do you ensure Tunisia remains a valued partner rather than a passive dependent?

Our allies are the reason we are still on the map. Without them, we would have been invaded long ago. With some, the relationship has grown into genuine friendship over time. That is why we always try to give back everything we receive and more. Our support is sincere and selfless.

Do you believe small nations like Tunisia can still shape the broader course of WarEra, and if so, how?

The map is full of possibilities. I still remember the African revolution with the Anti group a few months ago. Despite the chaos and some moderation issues, it was one of the most exciting periods we’ve experienced. Small nations add life to the game. I encourage players to take abandoned countries and begin their own journeys.

Looking ahead, what does success look like for Tunisia: simple survival, gradual growth, or proving that even the smallest nations can leave a lasting mark on the map?

Having our flag on the map already makes us very proud. Expansion may come in the future, but it is not our main concern right now. We simply want to remain active participants in this beautiful virtual world, writing our own history and leaving behind a good memory.

Tunisia’s story in WarEra is a reminder that influence is not measured only in numbers. Through persistence, diplomacy, and strong alliances, the country continues to hold its place on the map against the odds.
