The rudest eNation on eEarth is…

Johnny_SinsJuly 27, 2026stats

I analysed all 44,737 public moderator actions in WarEra history. Here are the saints, the sinners, the spam cannons—and the account that made moderators work overtime.

I've held a lot of jobs. Doctor. Astronaut. Firefighter. Structural engineer, twice.

Today I am a statistician. Bear with me.

WarEra's moderators have been keeping a ledger since 3 May 2025 — every mute, ban, deleted message, warning, fine and forced name change. Forty-four thousand seven hundred and thirty-seven entries, spanning 450 days and touching 16,112 accounts. It sits in public, unlocked, and as far as I can tell nobody has ever read the whole thing.

I read the whole thing.

(Disclosure: I appear in it. We'll leave it there. The moderators and I have what I'd call an ongoing correspondence.)

Part I: The rudest country on Earth

You cannot rank countries by raw sanctions; big countries get more of everything. You also cannot divide by "active population" — that's a snapshot of who's online now, against a ledger covering fifteen months. Do it that way and Argentina scores 812 bans per 100 citizens, which would mean every Argentine has been banned eight times and a few of them twice more for luck.

There's a subtler trap, and I fell in it first: most accounts in this game are not people. Of 33,972 accounts I could attribute to a country, only 15,027 have reached level 10 and are not sitting under a ban. 55.8% of the registry is ghosts — abandoned starters and banned alt farms. Divide by all of them and you don't measure rudeness, you measure how much junk a country accumulated.

So: share of a country's real players ever muted. Level 10 or above, not currently banned. Minimum 25 real players, because a nation of nine with one angry man is not a trend.

A note on nationality: players can and do change countries, so these are accounts currently flying each flag, not a claim about where the offence was committed.

Most-muted nations

  1. https://app.warera.io/region/69614d2720e5425d54d00c56 — 34.1% · 14 muted of 41 real players

  7. https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af1606 — 20.8% · 16 of 77

  9. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7eb — 18.5% · 38 of 205

  10. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac80e — 18.2% · 28 of 154

One in three real https://app.warera.io/country/69614d0e5d798a861630c58e players has been silenced by a moderator.

Forty-one actual players. Fourteen of them muted, thirty separate times, because several are repeat customers. Between them: 130 deleted messages and 56 formal warnings. The Holy See has a mouth on it.

In fairness 41 is small, and the gap to https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af15d3 is a single person. But the https://app.warera.io/country/69614d0e5d798a861630c58e didn't squeak in on a technicality; it leads on deleted messages per head too, and it topped this table on both the naive count and the corrected one.

Cleaning the denominator moved things violently. https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af1606 climbed twenty-one places — 79% of its registry was ghosts, and once they came out its real rate quadrupled from 4.9% to 20.8%. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7eb rose twelve, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8d7 eleven. Every one of them had been flattered by a mountain of dead accounts.

Special mention to https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b8: 5.2% across 407 real players — by some distance the largest genuine playerbase anywhere near this table. Anyone can be rude with a village. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b8 industrialised it.

Part II: The Hall of Shame

These rankings describe public moderator records, not the quality of the humans behind the accounts. Please don't harass anyone listed — they already appear perfectly capable of generating their own paperwork.

🥇 Most moderator work generated by one account: https://app.warera.io/user/697468c2bcf65ec10541fcf4 — 497 actions

Four hundred and ninety-seven entries. The next-busiest file has 144.

But look at the composition: 493 of those 497 are deleted messages. This isn't a man with strong opinions. This is a spam cannon with a keyboard — one account that single-handedly generated more moderator clean-up than most countries.

And at number seven on the same list, with 90 actions, sits https://app.warera.io/user/697475cd0fcb099c6cdd1948 — flying a French flag. Numbered alts, two countries. Either a coordinated brand or one very busy operator.

The busiest files

Most muted human: https://app.warera.io/user/691d7aefc66380bdd827820f(https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7a4) — 19 mutes

Nineteen separate silencings, 149 days of accumulated mute time, plus 18 warnings and 94 deleted messages. Babu has been told to be quiet more times than anyone in the history of this game and has, demonstrably, not been quiet.

Longest single timed sentence: https://app.warera.io/user/6828d1ec16e733d29aeea3f7(https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7e2) — 100 days

One hundred days. In one go. The name was, in hindsight, a warning.

Braindead also holds the cumulative record — 168 days across five timed mutes — and two permanent mutes on top.

Most banned: https://app.warera.io/user/6823e1504d7cb6c6b7aa1a65 (https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac83c) — 33 bans, zero unbans

Thirty-three bans. Not one appeal granted. Chile also supplies #2 and #4 on this list. Something is happening in Chile.

Most forgiven: https://app.warera.io/user/69adfcf3e5230b35c2f1fb07 (https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac829) — 10 unbans against 6 bans

Unbanned more times than banned, which should not be arithmetically possible and yet here we are. The moderators clearly like this one.

Most versatile: https://app.warera.io/user/698e3d542064e76beab517e3 (https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af1606) — 5 distinct rules cited

Part III — What everyone actually gets muted for

7.3.A — 1,227 citations · Targeted harassment, insults, slurs

7.3.D — 505 · Xenophobia

7.3.C — 238 · Sexual or suggestive content

7.3.F — 207 · Glorifying hateful ideologies

7.3.A received more citations than the next three rules combined. WarEra is a game about invading your neighbours, and the thing that actually gets you silenced is being personally unpleasant to one specific person.

There's a lesson there. Declare war on the country, not the guy.

(7.3.C, third place, 238 counts. No comment. Moving on.)

Part IV — National records

  • Most moderator actions, absolutehttps://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac845, 1,926 across 658 accounts

The nations of saints

Ten countries with 60+ accounts and not one mute in fifteen months:

  1. https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af15d9 — 88 real players, zero

  2. https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af160f — 60, zero

  3. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7f8 — 34, zero

  4. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac855 — 28, zero

  5. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac83f — 25, zero

https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af15d9 is the standout: 170 accounts, fifteen months, zero. Either the politest people in this game or the most careful. I'm not saying which, because I'd get a 7.3.A for it.

Part V — The one you asked me to guess

Someone in global chat asked which country has the most bans for multi-accounting. Here is your answer, and it has a twist.

Absolute: https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7eb— 444. Then https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7a8 437, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac845 413, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac83c 391, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac832 382.

Per head: https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac83c and https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac832, both roughly 91 multi-bans per 100 accounts.

Purest: https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac87d— 92% of every ban Australia has ever received was for multi-making. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac852 91%

But the honest way to ask "which country farms the most alts" is to count the banned accounts standing behind each genuine player. Do that and the answer is brutal:

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac832 — 2.8 banned accounts per real player · 278 banned, 99 real

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7a8 — 2.4 · 502 banned, 211 real

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7e5 — 2.2

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7eb — 2.0

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac83c — 1.3

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7a8 is the purest case in the game: 89% of everything hollow in its registry is a banned account, not a quitter. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7eb 86%, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac832 86%, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac83c 78%. These are not countries with a churn problem. These are countries with a fraud problem.

And it cuts the other way too. https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af15c3 has the emptiest registry on Earth... 1,838 accounts, only 193 real. but just 13% of that void is banned. The other 1,426 are ordinary people who signed up, played briefly, and left. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac845, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8da and https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af1606 look the same. That isn't cheating. That's a game losing beginners, which is a different problem and arguably a worse one.

Then there's https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac852, which fits neither box. Moderators have formally linked 387 https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac852 accounts into alt "family groups" — more than double second-place Indonesia — despite Libya having only 217 bans total, and despite only 31% of its ghosts being banned. They have investigated far more Libyan accounts than they have ever punished.

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac852 isn't the most-banned nation. It's the most investigated one.

And zoom out: nearly three quarters of all bans were for account farming or automation. There were 10,124 multi-accounting bans and 1,099 bot bans, 11,223 of 15,056 total, or 74.5%. Multi-accounting alone represents 67.2%.

The great crime wave of WarEra was never rudeness. It was arithmetic—men quietly building armies of themselves.

That's the next article. I'll write it.

Sources: 44,737 public moderator actions, 3 May 2025 – 27 July 2026 (450 days), cross-referenced against 33,972 attributable accounts, of which 16,112 carry at least one record. Muted share = real players receiving at least one mute, over that country's real players. A real player is level 10 or above and not currently banned (derived from the ledger: a ban with no subsequent unban); 15,027 accounts qualify. Countries under 25 real players excluded from rate-based rankings. Mute durations above one year are moderator shorthand for "permanent" and are counted separately rather than summed. Nationality reflects each account's current country, not necessarily its country at the time of the offence. The ledger's first entry predates the oldest surviving account by two days, so it covers effectively the whole history of the game.
