As it happened:
Following the heavy bombardments that are currently happening at the Ostlandet region in Norway, a adjacent Latvia have been quiet for most of the battle. That was until a proposal of alliance with Netherlands occured during 2pm CEST, effectively going against the previous alliance with The Kingdom of Sweden.
Following the acceptance of the proposal, a trade of land between Latvia and The Netherlands occured, with the area of Jämtland turning orange and the island of Gotland turning maroon. Following the trade, a donation of 2000 gold was sent to The Netherlands from Sierra Leone, with Latvia sending on their end a futher 1500 gold back to the african nation using them as a buffer.
Consequences:
Latvias resonings for breaking the alliance with Sweden are for now unknown, Currently no real sign of money transference from The Netherlands has occured and nothing of benefit has got into Latvias hands as of yet. But to make one of the fastest growning nations in The Kingdom of Sweden turn from ally to enemy can cost the Baltic nation Dearly in the future. A futher issue relates to Swedens other allies in the war, namely Austria and Germany, now turning their heads towards the Latvians oathbreaking.
For now the future can only be speculated. But one thing is for sure, Latvia position is for now worse than it was before the War for the North.
