The Voices of WarEra #12: Capybara

BogoljubApril 7, 2026entertainment

There are players who make noise, and then there are those who don’t need to.

For nearly a year, one name has quietly remained in the conversation, not through theatrics, but through consistency, presence, and results that speak for themselves. Three times a president, now seated in congress, and ranked among the top damage dealers with multiple Battle Hero honors, this is not a story of a sudden rise, but of sustained control.

Behind the calm exterior and an almost ironic identity lies a player who has navigated wars, politics, and shifting alliances without ever losing relevance. Some would call it patience, others discipline, either way, it has worked.

After a delay that may or may not have tested that patience, we finally sit down with him.

It took me a full month to finally get you into this interview, should I call that patience on your side or just poor performance on mine?

Patience on my side. You had more important things to do, so I understood. In this game, timing matters for everything, even interviews.

Eleven months in and still relevant, still performing, still in the mix, what’s the reason you haven’t faded like most players do?

https://app.warera.io/user/681cc6bc5a84696e4576436a

First of all, I have to admit I have a LOT of free time compared to other users, and that’s a big advantage here. But beyond that, I like being involved in politics and other aspects of the game. I’ve also adapted to changes and to the new generations of players.

You’ve held the presidency three times and now sit in congress, how different is it playing from the top compared to working within the system?

https://app.warera.io/user/681cc6bc5a84696e4576436a

My presidencies in Spain and Argentina were different, but in both I had a lot of responsibility. You’re managing everything and people depend on your decisions. Being a congressman is much lighter, you still have influence, but without the constant pressure of leading everything.

Having seen both sides of leadership, what do you think most presidents get wrong when they first take power?

https://app.warera.io/user/681cc6bc5a84696e4576436a

Believing they can do everything alone. If you don’t delegate, you burn your mind very quickly. The game is too complex to carry everything by yourself, and good teams make a huge difference.

You’re sitting in the top 50 for total damage with multiple Battle Hero badges, what’s your approach when it comes to war, preparation, timing, or just showing up more than others?

https://app.warera.io/user/681cc6bc5a84696e4576436a

Preparation and strategy. I try to manage my resources well. If you want to be a good and consistent soldier, efficiency is everything. It’s not just about hitting more, it’s about hitting better.

Spain and Portugal ended up under country you played for, Argentine, how do you view that outcome, calculated move, opportunity taken, or something that escalated beyond expectations?

https://app.warera.io/user/681cc6bc5a84696e4576436a

We had an opportunity and we took it. It was risky, but in this game if you hesitate, someone else takes that position. It’s a very strategic zone, so we preferred to take the risk and control it rather than let others decide.

You’ve stayed consistent across different phases of the game, wars, rebuilds, political shifts, what keeps you locked in after eleven months?

https://app.warera.io/user/681cc6bc5a84696e4576436a

Reaching my objectives. I set myself collective and individual goals, and I focus on achieving them. Having something to aim for all the time keeps me motivated and active.

Let’s talk about the name, why Capybara, and did you expect it to become something people actually recognize?

https://app.warera.io/user/681cc6bc5a84696e4576436a

Honestly, I didn’t know which nickname to use. I found a picture and went with “MrCapy,” and it evolved into Capybara. I didn’t expect people to recognize it, it just happened over time.

https://app.warera.io/user/697558ff244a51dff0749db6

Capybaras are known for being calm and unbothered while everything moves around them, is that just a meme or does it actually reflect how you approach the game?

https://app.warera.io/user/681cc6bc5a84696e4576436a

It’s ABSOLUTELY the opposite of my personality in the game. I’m much more active and intense. Maybe that’s exactly why I liked the name.

https://app.warera.io/user/697558ff244a51dff0749db6

You’ve built a strong foundation, politically and militarily, so what’s next, staying in control behind the scenes or stepping back into the spotlight again?

https://app.warera.io/user/681cc6bc5a84696e4576436a

I think my “GovernmentEra” ended some time ago. Lately, I’ve just been helping my compatriots when needed. Now I’m focused on other goals: improving, supporting my Granaderos teammates, and climbing the damage ranking. I don’t need a title to feel relevant.

Not every player needs to be loud to be understood.

In a game where many burn bright and disappear just as quickly, some choose a different path, one built on discipline, timing, and knowing exactly when to act. Capybara doesn’t claim dominance through titles anymore, nor does he chase visibility for its own sake. Yet his presence remains, steady and undeniable.

From leading nations to stepping back without losing relevance, his story reflects something most players struggle to achieve — longevity without stagnation.

Calm on the surface, calculated underneath.

And whether he’s holding office or not, one thing is clear: he’s not done yet.
