I stand in sharp condemnation of the military aggression by France, whose president I once interviewed and recently published in Ukrainian. I had planned to release it in English and French as well — but because of this war, I will not be doing so.
I call upon Germans — stand united and strong. Ukraine is with you!
I call upon the French — war is not the answer. Stop it, become our allies and Germany's allies, but do not fight. This only tears us apart before far greater enemies.
I call upon the entire world — let us stand together, let us fight for Germany. We must not allow France to become yet another empire in our world.
