Iran builds a four-country coalition while under fire

While fighting for its survival against Poland, Iran spent the day signing defensive pacts with Bolivia, Brazil, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica — four new allies in a single day. Combined with the massive economic support it's already receiving (more on that in Economy), Iran is clearly playing a long diplomatic game alongside its military one.

Poland matches the pace

Not to be outdone, Poland signed pacts with Denmark and Latvia today, adding to its already extensive support network as its war against Russia opened up.

Ghana gets a new president

SCHNYIDER was elected the new president of Ghana — the most notable leadership change of the day.

El Salvador joins Steppes Horde

El Salvador formally joined the Steppes Horde alliance, the same alliance currently locked in a 7-battle rivalry with The Inglourious Basterds.

A busy day for peace deals

Six ceasefires were signed today: Equatorial Guinea–Gabon, Yemen–India, United States–Lithuania (notable, given the US was actively fighting Lithuania), Guatemala–Sierra Leone, Chile–Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan–Sierra Leone.

Greece continued its alliance-building streak from yesterday, adding pacts with Bulgaria and Croatia. Serbia and Moldova also signed a defensive pact.
