In the single biggest money move of the day, Germany transferred 10,000 to Iran, adding to a wave of support that also included Sweden (2,000), Portugal (2,000), Finland (1,000), Suriname (1,000), Thailand (500), and Yemen (1,000). Iran is clearly not fighting Poland alone — its backers are funding the war effort as much as they're fighting in it.
Not to be outdone, Poland received support from eight different countries today: Lithuania (3,000), Slovakia (3,000), Latvia (3,000), the Netherlands (2,000), Belgium (1,500), Egypt (1,000), Greenland (1,000), and Denmark (1,000). Between the two rival war chests, well over 30,000 in aid changed hands today just for these two countries.

Venezuela, currently defending against Puerto Rico's threatening attack, still found room to send 3,500 to Russia — its partner in the Poland conflict.
Seven new resource deposits were discovered across the map today. Several small region transfers also took place between countries, though the exact parties involved aren't fully resolved in our system yet — we're working on it for future editions.
