IRISH CASSETTE

RWT (Comoros)

29/08/26

In the crowded world of WarEra politics, https://app.warera.io/country/696a81da63e2489f47e5a28a is not exactly the first country that comes to mind when you think of geopolitical heavyweights. But behind the island nation is a president-elect with two consecutive terms under his belt, a love of pints, and a seemingly endless supply of Irish slang.

The introduction started off confusing me; something Google Translate couldn't help with. I had to summon the deepest, most backwoods version of Irish https://app.warera.io/user/698d0d08b4d3fc6b6eecfa14 I could find just to understand the man. I'll leave the statement with you guys and see if you can make heads or tails of this.

Avid slanderer of the OPW... Where's my bikeshed?¿ Nuffield spent on one there to have given every prick of the parish a bikeshed... nevermind the wall... nor the security hut... have better better constructs only to flush them down a minute later... and Im doing it for free...

After finding an understanding, I hadn't a clue about the Irish euphemisms. We moved forward with the questions. When asked what he believed was the single biggest challenge facing Comoros today, https://app.warera.io/user/69e0e6dd6416cd844850ed9b stated

I don't think we're genuinely struggling in any major aspect, we're doing well for ourselves atm...

According to Monty, the closest thing to a major domestic concern is the country's birth rate. Geopolitically, however, the situation is somewhat different. Monty acknowledges that Comoros isn't exactly the biggest fish in the international pond. But being small doesn't necessarily mean being vulnerable.

“We're far from the biggest fish in the tank... But we have enough teeth, friends and vinegar to keep the other fishies away.”

That strategy of maintaining strong relationships appears to have played a significant role in Comoros' foreign policy.

One of the more interesting revelations from the interview was when asked: "What would you say has been the hardest decision you've made as President?" According to Monty, Comoros had previously been close to joining BEER and had generally good relations with its members.

However, an unresolved disagreement with one BEER member ultimately pushed Comoros in another direction. The decision became even harder when BEER forces moved closer to Comoros than expected.

“The BEER warband got a lil close for comfort, not suspecting that they'd attack us, I believe we have rather amicable relations.”

Ultimately, they ended up siding with their friends in https://app.warera.io/alliance/6a29edc6ee031e842c839766

The term "Island Lyfe" was referenced a bunch throughout our talk. The next question was when it was most prominent. "What's one thing you want other countries to understand about Comoros?"

We are having a great time tbh... We had some hostilities with the previous head of state in Madagascar but with Atil4s as head of state, we've both since prospered, and have established positive relations in each other. The Flowergarden Agreement has been upheld But yeah, we're enjoying our Island Lyfe Not to be biased but we also have the best Binya-Elsewhere article

Unfortunately, friends, no one in Comoros is actually from Comoros, so we don't get any opinions on travel spots or what to eat if you decide to check out the three island experience. (If you're reading this and have been to or live in Comoros, leave us big backs food recommendations)

The last two questions happen to be my favorite to ask. "Which country has the best memes?" and "What's a promise you want to make that the readers can hold you accountable for?"

Monty left y'all with

  1. Ireland / Finland. Neck and neck rivalry imo, dont understand any Finnish, but I understand the vibe...

  2. Comoros will prosper as long as we stand, we welcome honest, well worded citizenship applications. We want capable and honorable individuals like ourselves. Once we have our staff to fully operate our Tourism Boards, we invite world citizens to indulge in the Island Lyfe

If you made it this far, thank you for reading another edition of my world tour. I missed doing this. I wrote this listening to Still Fly by Big Tymers. BANGER!

Stay beautiful <3
