Our nation was aware of the risk, about the absolute disparity in firepower between nations, we took the decision with high morale, yet understanding on the chances
Yet our people had fun, we hope our allies also had a thrilling time; Venezuelans sure did! The results might be hard, but the emotions were on top, for a game that is 100% UI, the tension was thick in the air
We saw an absolute monster of a battle, round 2 in Caracas even decimated a whole hamster 🐹
We accept we lost, in good spirits, we are not salty, we understood our chances from the beginning, had high hopes, and the moral was an all-time high too
We and specially our allies went way too hard on this, and we achieved damages to be remembered

Even if they always come and insult us, do not send hate to Venezuelans, they did an excellent work defending their motherland, we can respect and admire their logistics and patriotism
I don't want to feed into the theories and disagreement about who the lag helped, during the time our side was on head, even Venezuela's Leader complained, which led to a funny interaction, don't be mad at me https://app.warera.io/user/683908aa9f84b9712a1b9098 xoxo

(I would be lying if I said I didn't have a good laugh when I saw this in the Discord chat)
We heard some rumors were flowing, we are not going to accuse anyone directly, but some people were saying some things, and we don't want to leave that in the air
Our word is as believable as theirs, we are aware
Colombia broke a NAP or treaty with Venezuela: Nope, there was never anything signed, we attacked before the signing, we attacked because we had an ultimatum over our heads to accept the treaty with their conditions that very same night (No damage to allies or proxies, we would've signed if the proxies were off the demands, they didn't want that and they have just way too many proxies)
Colombia is a treacherous bunch: The reason we attacked is quite the opposite to this. Venezuela was always aware we were on the opposite block; the talks were to prevent a front in the chokepoint and continue to be a barrier between North and South, but being unable to damage proxies would mean we would be useless to our allies, completely; still they always wanted to flip us to our allies
Why didn't we go with them? Easy logic: we already had a compromise with other allies; they always knew that. When we talked it was always sweet and collaborative... Until someone proposed something they didn't like, then the attitude was "A couple of MUs can wipe you, you know?". Unbearable, was a whole "diplomatic week"
So, if they were our only strong ally, they could just take our land whenever they wanted, and no one would come to aid
Our options were submission, or war

To all our friends, cool down!
As Venezuela caves in, we need to grow our economies back so we can keep looking for new chances, for new battles and to be useful at different fronts. At the end, that is what this game is about, a cycle of changes, nothing lasts forever
We will still be here, and will be taking some decisions on logistics for the near future
We lost our soil, but had a great time, our citizens united for a cause, and I believe it is for this thrill we play; there is no winner if there are no losers, today that's our place, but it's not dishonorus, we did our best together
Thanks to you all!
