To the ones doing what they are doing: you have NO IDEA what (serious) journalism is about.
What you are doing, excuse my language (or not), is a HUGE PILE of bull crap and would work, maybe, in a gossip column at best.
Unless you have, at least, a bachelors degree you can not call what you are doing (serious) journalism. The article should not even be classified as such.

Removing a splinter from a finger by yourself does not turn you magically into a doctor. Magical thinking and wishing very hard is not enough.
It is just a bunch a people gathered raising suspicion trough words in an article. (And let's be clear: said by someone who has a bachelors degree in journalism. That, after changing paths in life, worked in a newspaper and a radio station as such.).
If it was (serious) journalism (and if it was pro fair game practices), that is NOT how it's done. I'm going to draw a simple picture for you:
To work with FACTS you follow a line of work. I am going to use the game as my explanation cause, duh, it has to do with it.
You ask them (the admins) to verify and check your suspicions, the admins then do their thing and THEN you write about it AFTER everything is done.
NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
To not look so biased (cause it totally looks like it is, I don't believe it was a "coincidence") you people should be doing that whatever you are doing to your OWN country first, at least. Clean house, make sure you have no glass ceiling and then you move to the next.
One article written points fingers and the other backpedals and says something along the lines of "we are not doing what we are doing to ban people from the game, we mean no harm".
Pick an option then, both can not be true. It smells of dishonesty. And it STINKS. People are NOT stupid.
And when I say that it looks totally biased, it was because it was done to a country and a player that, let's face it, is beating your ass and your friend's asses inside the game. Again, we are NOT stupid and that's the conclusion that people are going to reach.
I said it in a conversation on Discord yesterday: If you are going to weaponize the admins against one person and one country (whatever country and people it may be), just block our IPS from the game then.
You can have the game all to yourselves.
If we are not welcome, if every time a country grows that do not belong to your side, that isn't seen as "the right one" and they are attacked not by being fought against fair and square, with weapons and strategy and alliances, hours spent, then banish us even before we make an account.
And I am going to say whatever sane person should: Admins SHOULD NOT be players. Should not be amongst us "simple folk". They should, at least, try to be not biased in favor or against certain players or country.
What it will accomplish is what is happening now: People get mad, sad, deciding not to play anymore, canceling their subs. Again: people ARE NOT stupid.

A game with no players left isn't successful. And what makes it a success is it's community. And fair administration. People that care. Not people that speaks to it's community like we are bunch of trash. "Play and pay your subs and be glad about it" doesn't work. Before you think about features you should care about people. If you don't, just say it. At least things are made clear and we can act accordingly.
And what was that comment by the admin gifting something to the people that wrote said article? That was DISGUSTING to say the least. And that's on me.

There are PEOPLE behind the nicks in the game. Real human beings. Devoting time, energy and, sometimes, paying real money for the montly subscription. In the case of Brasil, it ain't cheap. The ones that do, from our side of the world, I believe do because they like the game and want to help to make it nice and grow.
Because of what happened to him, the conversation among us revolves around being afraid to bring other people to play.
Look at his profile and see for yourself HOW MANY PEOPLE he tried to bring to play.
Do you really think he was trying to take advantage of multis?
And because of my last article, I was kinda bombarded with so many bull from people: "stop crying, it's no big deal." (I know people from Guinea Bissau and other Brasilians around the world must be celebrating. Since you ppl love to hate on us, if we are not here, you will have no one to hate...)
It's not a big deal until it affects you. (And I am SURE you are going to "cry about it")
And it totally can. How? Let me explain.
HOW IT CAN AFFECT YOU:
The way it can happen is: someone does an account and multis and puts their referrals linked to your account cause the game allows it after a certain time.
If you look at my profile, I have 1 referral. I never spoke about the game to anyone outside of it. I did not invite this person. I spoke to him and explained to him the basics when he arrived and to be nice, he put me as his referral.
So, a person trying to make you banned from the game can exploit it. All of a sudden you have referrals by someone that made multis to accuse you of cheating.
Then they just wait. All of a sudden, an article is done saying: look, this person has referrals that are multis. Let's punish him/her/them.
Or the admin does it's job and finds out the multis and bans the multis, the multis maker and yourself.
Tadaaaa!
You lose your account and good luck trying to get it back. You are a cheater first, no questions asked and that's it.
See now why I am "crying"?
I know, I know: It is just a game. But it doesn't matter. People have fun here, make friends here, some take it a little more serious doing their roleplay.
I ask of everyone to just stop, think, reflect.

I ask to the owner, admins, players: What was done to other countries, people, to our own and to one of the most beloved players of Brasil should be revised. We want our friend Krois to have the chance to have his account back if he wishes to continue after this HUGE fiasco. I say this because unless proof is shown that he actually did multis I won't believe that he is actually guilty. Words are NOT enough. And if you want me to eat mine I want to SEE with my own eyes what you people in charge can see. What is SO SECRET that can not be exposed?
