What was UPI?

UPI was originally founded by Fatican ( @698d0d08b4d3fc6b6eecfa14 ) in direct response to there only being a single party in Ireland at that time, NPI. NPI was led by the infamous Rag ( @68ec3d3dac0121ac917987f9 ) who had sullied the Irish image by repeatedly and unapologetically spreading racist and foul remarks while being the president of our nation. As well as lying, racism and wishing death upon the homeless, he argued that Palestinians deserved their situation. There is too much to even begin to summarise, but just know that Rag was not a good fit to lead Ireland.

Fatican, sub level 20 at the time, spent his entire income to pay for the party. He then worked with KyleTheTank( @69b03a0ee5230b35c2860968 ) who reached out to find like minded individuals who were unhappy with the leadership of that time. PropulsionFalls(VP)( @684cc3dc40f2257826ac2a80 ) and Shmoke_n_Shniff(MoEdu)( @698d05589789b5cb628f88b8 ) were both in Rag's cabinet and both wished to have him dethroned. Kyle reached out and discovered this shared view and connected us together to form the core of the new party and gather support with the help of Nina and Woodsman to take the presidency away from Rag.

UPI pushed the exact opposite message of NPI, respect for all. A place for everyone to be heard and where everyone agreed that racism, disrespect and unfairness were unnaceptable. A party to represent the real Irish people of Ireland, not the crazy right wing nationalist view Rag had imposed. The UPI's one mission was to ensure a fair and righteous Ireland for everyone.

UPI's Values

Through spreading the message of how Ireland should be, and through displaying via screenshots just how disastrous Rag was, both as a person and especially as a leader, the first UPI election run was successful and @698d05589789b5cb628f88b8 became the first president after Rag after 5 consecutive months of his leadership.

Shortly after a baby boom occurred in Ireland, surging the population of Ireland to new heights. What was 40 became over 200 people. Throughout this time of growth UPI remained a bastion against racism and lies, the party fought diligently to dispel the backhanded tactics Rag employed during this time. Time and time again Rag carried out devious plans and time and time again, Fatican, Kyle, PropulsionFalls and Shmoke_n_Shniff fought back with proof of wrongdoing.

Months of fighting finally resulted in Rag giving in and leaving Ireland, and WarEra, for good. The mission of UPI was achieved. UPI had won the good fight for Ireland.

Since the mission of UPI has been completed, the party is lacking direction, focus and a mission. Those of us still in the UPI, who stand by the our values and principles are working on a new direction, a new focus and a new mission. We seek to pivot into this new age of internal peacefulness in order to work for the betterment of us all, ensure the legacy of UPI is not lost to history and have a good laugh along the way.
