The Vatican Archives Report an Unusual Discovery

At this time, the contents of the missing archive entry remain unknown.

The Vatican has established a dedicated archival commission to investigate the matter and determine the circumstances surrounding its disappearance.

While there is currently no cause for alarm, historians and archivists have noted several references within surrounding records that describe the missing archive as being of "great importance to the future security of the Holy See."
