Q1. Can you introduce yourself to our readers?

I'm GW666, one of the oldest players in this game. Eternal president of Japan, leader of the Ronins. As the Pope called me "the bounty shogun."

Q2. Japan is widely known for having some of the highest damage players in the game. How did you build that kind of military culture?

Since the beginning, Japan's motto was and is "few but strong." For a long time we only had high level players with experience and military build. A few months ago, one of my partners in crime, Miss Usagui, convinced me and Japan's government to make a talent pool called "Littlepon." Now Japan has old high level players and also middle level players who were trained to play smart and hit for bounty. We have a beautiful multinational community in Japan with people from all over the world who share the same spirit: have fun, play chill and hit for bounty.

Q3. Japan's MU is considered one of the best in the game and has won multiple tournaments. What is the secret behind that dominance?

It's not a secret. It is our everyday reality. Japan's gameplay is to be organized and play smart. We are always protagonists in tournaments not because we prepare for them, indeed we never prepare for tournaments. It's because we have several capable players who fight in a strategic way and organize the key battles. We are an amazing group of people who play together and want to win, always.

Q4. Despite having one of the strongest military forces on the map, Japan is not expanding. Is that a strategic choice or simply not a priority?

Japan played geopolitics for 6 months, conquered almost half of Asia and some parts of Russia and Europe. But at some point we felt stuck. The diplomatic game started to be hard and we were stuck for 2 months with constant rebellions. That's why we decided to release all our conquered territory and focus on being the best merc country in this game. Now more than 500k btc earned in bounty can show that we have succeeded and that we are doing a good job in that way.

Q5. A nation with Japan's military power could cause serious damage on the map if it wanted to. What is holding you back?

We are mercs, we don't play the geopolitical game. We have clients in all alliance blocks and we work with any country who can hire us to win their battles. That gameplay is more fun for us than the geopolitical one.

Q6. The map is currently divided between two major blocs, Olive Union and ICPD, with a third emerging force called The Federation growing in Southeast Asia. Where does Japan stand in all of this?

We have frequent clients in all the big alliance blocks. We also have our public rules about what happens if you hire us. For example we don't change sides in a battle and we give you priority to hire us for the next battles.

Q7. If Japan had to pick a side tomorrow, which one would it be and why?

In the past some alliance blocks asked to hire us exclusively for their entire block. Utopia tried, Turkey tried, Venezuela tried. We always refuse. It is a day by day for us. First asked, first served.

Q8. How would you describe Japan's relationship with Morocco?

We worked sometimes with Morocco in the past. We made your country win several times, Tacostador is a big witness of that. Indeed we were key in the first big battles of your country against Spain. But this last time Morocco refused to pay more than 0.15 and that's why we stopped working with them. As I always say, 0.1 to 0.15 is ok for your ally. We are not your ally, we are mercs. We are the extra damage to make you win or lose. If you want to have us you need to pay our value. Sometimes it is a good thing to remember who made you win instead of only looking at your bank account or thinking that hiring a random MU is the same as hiring us. But well, it's a free market.

Q9. How do you keep your top players engaged when you are not in active large scale wars?

Our community is amazing. We have fun every day with or without bounty. If we have bounty it is better, but we always make creative ways to have fun. Since the admins focused on making updates to nerf mercs, we always have to think about how we can figure it out. And we made it every time. Not easy, but here we are and here we stay.

Q10. What would it take for Japan to enter a major conflict on the map?

If you have the money, you can hire us to help you and hit in your battles. If you still have money, you can hire us as many times as you need. But when you stop we stop. That's our way to get involved. So be sure to have enough.

It is ok for your ally or for a random MU. But we are not a random MU, we are The Ronins. We are Japan. And we are going to make you win or lose. So always remember: hire with time before your enemy does.
