The time to vote for president is closing in on us. I am again asking for your vote, so I can continue guiding Ireland on the positive path we find ourselves in under my leadership. As a Dublin native, I am dedicated to Ireland and passionate about its freedom, improvement and success. I appreciate the trust people have had for me and I hope you continue to support me as I try to support everyone as best I can!
Some achievements and notable mentions this term:
Developed a guide website
We are back on the map, even if only temporary
Diverse cabinet including members from all parties
Creating new roles to get more people involved
Improved diplomatic relations with previously unattainable nations
Brokered multiple deals with help from cabinet
New alliances
Led successful military operations with the help of our allies and appointed cabinet
Various nations now take us seriously in a new regard
Presented options to the people, putting the fate of Ireland in the people's hands
It hasn't always been smooth sailing but I have always done my best to be fair to everyone. I put trust in some who were viewed as not the best choices, in some cases they didn't work out but in others they flourished and showed their true potential. It was my first term and I learned a lot from it. Anyone can DM me at any stage and I will happily speak with you about anything. I am not extreme, I do not hold any controversial views and I only wish for Ireland to be a better nation for all of us. Vote for me if you like the upward trajectory Ireland has been on lately and wish for it to continue!
UPI will always try the diplomacy first approach, and this time it resulted in us holding our territories for longer than we really should have, given the strength of our opponents. We will always present options to the people and leave the fate of the country in your hands, we will not make executive decisions without the support of the people. We support what the people want, we aim to give them the power to choose.
We have some critics, for continuing to attempt diplomatic relations but please continue to have faith in us. Without this open line of communication we have built, there would have been no options presented for the people to vote on. We ultimately all want the same thing - a better Ireland and freedom. Together we, the people, can achieve that.
Next term I plan on the following additions:
formalising a constitution for Ireland (conversations have begun but not many have engaged me)
formalising the duties and responsibilities of cabinet roles (as part of constitution)
eco time to allow our population to recover and build up strength
further refining the new user guide
filling the newly created spokesperson role to further increase gov communication and provide updates for the people
strengthening alliances and planning a full revolt before the end of the term(if we are overrun again)
It goes without saying I always present referendums to ensure the will of the people is followed for major decisions.
