The Philippines declared war on Laos and Taiwan in the early hours of the morning, opening a double front. Shortly afterward, Cambodia attacked the Philippines in the Luzon region, while Indonesia opened a front in Sabah. The Battle of Luzon ended with a victory for the Filipino defenders, while the Indonesian attack on Sabah was repelled. Despite these defeats, the declarations of war remain active and the conflict could continue.
