This is my first article about War Era. I’m currently Level 15, and I’m still building my own experience and understanding of the game. So, this guide is mainly for new players who are just starting out and want some basic advice on how to build a strong economy.
My biggest tip for new players is simple:
Stay in Economy Mode until your country orders you to switch to War Mode.
When you first start playing, your main priority should be building a strong economic foundation rather than rushing into war. A good economy will give you the resources and financial strength you need later when you eventually switch to War Mode.
While you are in Eco Mode, focus your skill points on:
⭐ Production – MOST IMPORTANT
Entrepreneurship
Energy
Out of these, I would especially recommend prioritizing Production. A higher Production skill helps you get more value from your work and companies, allowing you to build your economy faster.
Entrepreneurship and Energy should also be developed alongside Production as your economy grows.
One important mistake I recommend new players avoid is putting their skill points into Workers too early.
Workers can become very expensive because the company owner has to pay their wages. If your companies are not generating enough income, these costs can quickly eat into your finances and potentially push you toward bankruptcy.
For a new player with limited capital, it is better to work yourself, save your money, and grow your companies first. You can think about workers later when your economy is strong enough to support them.
As you develop your economy, try to build at least four companies:
⛏️ Limestone → 🏗️ Concrete
⛏️ Iron → 🏭 Steel
This gives you a basic production chain, with two companies producing raw materials and two producing finished products.
Building this type of economy allows your companies to support each other while you continue expanding and upgrading.
Don’t rush the game. Build your economy first, learn the mechanics, and prepare yourself for war later.
I’m still learning at Level 15 myself, but hopefully these tips can help other new players avoid some early mistakes and build a stronger foundation.
Strong economy first. War comes later. 🇺🇳
