War, War Never Changes (Sweden Edition – Economic Collapse Simulator)

birdJanuary 25, 2026news

War. War never changes.
Except Sweden’s economy, which changed from “peaceful IKEA paradise” to “bankruptcy speedrun any%” in about 2 turns.

Day 1 of war:
“We got this. Tactical, calculated, flawless Swedish efficiency.”

Day 2:
Belgium and Denmark exist.
Suddenly my treasury looks like a free sample tray at IKEA — empty and disappointing.

To even enter war mode I had to DISABLE 6 companies.
Six.
That’s not mobilization — that’s unplugging half the country just to afford bullets.

Eco mode: 📈
War mode: 📉📉📉

Command staff:
“We need more tanks.”
My economy: “You can have ONE tank or electricity. Choose wisely.”

Every battle report:
Defeat. ❌
Cost:
– Gold reserves
– National pride
– 6 companies
– Emotional stability

I send tanks to the front.
They send me invoices.

Belgium/Denmark loses a few units:
“Minor inconvenience.”

Sweden loses a few units:
Entire economic system collapses like cheap flat-pack furniture.

But will I stop?
No.
Because war never changes…
and neither does Sweden’s ability to suffer economically with dignity.

See you on the battlefield.
I’ll be the Swedish commander fighting bravely on the frontlines
while my economy fights for its life in the background.
