no cap this game has been living in my head rent free for 2 months now and i need to dump everything i know
first off it's completely free and no pay to win. like actually. not "free to play but the guy with $200 in upgrades destroys you". actual skill based. genuinely shocked
ok TIPS. pay attention:
PRECISION IS BROKEN AT BASE LEVEL you start with 50% precision. FIFTY. that means half your hits in battle literally miss. first skill points you get, dump them into precision. i spent a whole week wondering why i was doing nothing in battles and it's because i was airballing every other swing like a toddler with a baseball bat
eat cooked fish not bread bread heals 10hp. steak heals 20. cooked fish heals 30. they all cost 1 hunger. the math is not complicated. stop eating bread. you are not a medieval peasant
pills exist they give you an 80% damage buff. EIGHTY PERCENT. i found out about this way too late and i am still upset about it
stats regen 10% per hour this game is meant to be played in short bursts, not marathoned. if you're sitting there refreshing waiting for health to come back you've already lost. log in, do your hits, go touch grass, come back later. it's basically a browser idle game with war crimes
don't ignore the economy you can own companies, hire people, produce stuff, trade on the market. the political system is real, you can literally run for congress or become president. most players ignore this entirely and then complain they have no gold. be the guy who has gold
skill points are PERMANENT decisions total cost to max everything is 715 points. you will not max everything. ever. pick a lane early — either go combat (attack + precision first) or go economic (production + entrepreneurship). hybrid builds exist but you need to plan them, don't just click random stuff because it sounds cool
check the job market constantly wages vary between companies. you can switch jobs anytime. most newbies just stay at the first job they find forever and leave a ton of money on the table. 5 minutes of market checking = more gold for doing the same work
anyway this game scratches the erepublik itch for those of you old enough to remember that thing. it's in beta, it's growing, and the devs actually seem to give a damn.
