some high dodge and armor numbers result in same percentage. So you can cheap out on gear or your SP by going for the lowest number that still gives the same %:

Hello everyone and thanks for clicking on the article. Today I want to start a new series of some slightly hidden features and optimal ways of playing.
A lot of people just play for fun and do their thing but some of you really want to get the best out of it for your progress. This series won't be about the obvious things like not shooting with a jet without pill but will focus more on advanced and experienced players who still seem to miss some very subtle aspects of the game.
ARMOR AND DODGE
This stat has been reworked by Vatou from just plain percentage to % = total/(total+40)
This is however with percentages being rounded which leads to not every single armor or dodge point being a difference in game.
an example: if you have armor skill at lvl 8 that equals to 48 points. equip a green vest and pants of 9 and 10 armor and you get 67 points which gives 63%. But if you want to be better equipped and equip a blue vest of 11, your total gets to 69 but you stay at 63%.
No difference while green gear is obviously cheaper. This doesn't matter for low lvl's and bad gear sets but for max lvl players and full red sets this becomes quiet important.
So save yourself some bucks and try to aim for the lowest armor and dodge numbers that still gives the same % or even better go for max equipment and try to put your SP into something else!
