An investigation into the matchups that refuse to end

By https://app.warera.io/user/69bdf06ea5a0c0727884dcb4

Before we begin, huge thanks to https://app.warera.io/user/6999b242abdf5405edb36d57 for helping me collect the battle logs, and to https://app.warera.io/user/69baf405edc9a346931b27c5 for building Time Machine on SPYWarera. Without it, It would be challenging to show the half of the "wait... WHAT?!" moments in this article .

I've spent the last two days doing something no mentally stable person should willingly do.
Reading battle logs. Lots of battle logs.
12,946 of them.

I pulled every recorded battle from May 2025 to 29 July 2026, covering 180 countries, then compared all of those rivalries against today's world map.
That's when the spreadsheet started bullying me.
Countries that looked completely unstoppable had somehow been reduced to a single region.
Others barely appeared in the battle logs before quietly taking over half a continent.
Even https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac862 ...
...yeah, we'll talk about https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac862 later.

To separate genuine rivalries from glorified punching bags, I built something I'm calling the Rivalry Index. Instead of just counting battles, it combines battle volume, damage, competitiveness, close finishes, comeback wins, massive battles and long-term consistency to find the matchups that actually kept WarEra interesting.

One important disclaimer before the comment section declares me public enemy number one.
The dataset can't distinguish normal battles from land-transfer battles. A small number almost certainly fall into that category, but there's no reliable way to identify them after the fact, so every recorded battle has been treated equally throughout this report.

Right.
Enough explaining.
Let's see which countries simply couldn't leave each other alone.

πŸ† Greatest Rivalries πŸ†

πŸ”’ An Unexpected Deadlock πŸ”’

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac87d vs https://app.warera.io/country/6873d0ea1758b40e712b5f67

This wasn't the rivalry I expected to top the rankings. Which is exactly why it deserves to.

Across the dataset, these two countries fought 49 battles.

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac87d won 25.
https://app.warera.io/country/6873d0ea1758b40e712b5f67 won 24.

It doesn't get much closer than that. Nearly half of those battles were decided by razor-thin damage margins, while more than half escalated into Big Battles.
Neither side ever treated the other as an easy opponent. Every encounter felt important.

Even more impressive is how long this rivalry lasted.
For 265 consecutive days, these two countries kept crossing paths on the battlefield and kept producing genuinely competitive fights.

Then I checked today's map. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac87d has quietly expanded from 7 regions to 11
& https://app.warera.io/country/6873d0ea1758b40e712b5f67 ?
Still holding the exact same three regions it started with.

One country grew. The other simply refused to disappear.

Despite the difference in size, neither side ever managed to establish lasting dominance over the other.

If one rivalry captures what WarEra battles are supposed to feel like, it's this one.

βš” Blood Feud βš”

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b8 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac868

Some rivalries are competitive. Others become personal.
Nothing in this dataset comes close to this matchup.

These two countries have fought 154 battles, making it the single most-played rivalry in the entire database.

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b8 won 139.
https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac868 won 15.

Across those battles, they exchanged more than ~6.58 billion damage, enough destruction to eclipse entire regional conflicts elsewhere in the game.
Those numbers alone would make this rivalry legendary.

Then you look at the current map.
When this dataset begins, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac868 controlled 18 regions.
Today?
One.
Just https://app.warera.io/region/6813b70a9403bc4170a5da0e remains under Russian control.

Everything else has changed hands.
https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7c0 now flies its flag over https://app.warera.io/region/6813b70a9403bc4170a5da17 .
https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac80b controls Russia's Arctic north.
And somehow...
https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac83c owns large parts of Siberia.
We'll come back to that later because it deserves a section of its own.

For now, one thing is impossible to ignore.
https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b8 didn't just win battle after battle.
It helped rewrite the map. Sometimes statistics tell you who won.

The world map shows you how complete that victory really was.

πŸ’₯ Highest Damage Rivalry πŸ’₯

Same Rivals, Another Record

Some awards are closely contested. This one wasn't.

With 6.58 billion total damage exchanged, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b8 and https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac868 comfortably claim the title of the most destructive rivalry in the dataset.

The closest challenger is https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7a0 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac802 , whose 44 battles produced an astonishing 5.99 billion damage.

What's remarkable is the efficiency. The top rivalry reached its total through sheer volume.

The runner-up nearly matched it while fighting less than a third as often. On a per-battle basis, very few rivalries hit harder. Whenever those two countries met, somebody's repair bill was enormous.

🎯 Closest Rivalries 🎯

One of the biggest surprises in this project was discovering how many perfectly balanced rivalries exist.

Some countries have spent months fighting each other without either side ever managing to pull ahead.

Among the standouts:

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac79c vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7fb - 13-13 across 26 battles.

  • https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af15bf vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7eb - 14-14 across 28 battles.

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac832 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b6 - 8-8.

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac842 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7eb - 10-10.

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8cb vs https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af160f - 6-6 across twelve battles.

These aren't necessarily the biggest rivalries in WarEra.
But they might be the purest.
Every victory immediately restores the balance, leaving neither side ahead for long.

πŸ˜… The Fortress Nobody Could Crack πŸ˜…

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac835

When people think of military powerhouses, this country probably isn't the first one that comes to mind.
It certainly wasn't mine.

Yet while digging through nearly ~13,000 battles, I kept seeing the same Country ID appear over and over again. At first I assumed it was coincidence. Then I started looking at the numbers. Across the dataset, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac835 appears in 670 battle participations, making it one of the most active countries in the entire report.

Its overall record ?

527 victories. Only 110 defeats.

That's not just impressive. It's one of the strongest win-loss records achieved by any country with this level of activity.

Some rivalries weren't rivalries at all.
Against https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8d1 , the record finished 26-0.

Against https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8b2 , 33-0.

Against https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8a6 , 17-0.

The same pattern continues against https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af15db , https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af15fd , https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac86e , https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8d4 and several others.

None of them managed to record a single victory.

Naturally, I expected to discover an expanding empire. Instead, today's map tells a completely different story.
Despite hundreds of victories, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac835 still controls just two regions.
https://app.warera.io/region/6813b7089403bc4170a5d927 & https://app.warera.io/region/6813b7089403bc4170a5d924
The same two it started with.

βš– Most Balanced High-Volume Rivalry βš–

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7bc vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ba

Not every legendary rivalry needs an even score line. Sometimes longevity matters just as much.
These two countries fought 64 battles.

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7bc won 27.
https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ba won 37.

More than 3 billion damage was exchanged between them. Neither side ever managed to build lasting momentum.
Whenever one country appeared ready to pull away, the other responded. That constant back-and-forth transformed this into one of the defining rivalries of southeastern Europe.
But the deeper I looked, the more obvious something became. This wasn't just a rivalry. It was part of an entire regional conflict.

πŸŒ‹ The Balkan Powder Keg πŸŒ‹

Before starting this project, I expected the Balkans will dominate so many pages of my notes.

No other region produced such a tightly connected web of recurring wars.
Just look at a handful of them.

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b2 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b6 - 127 battles

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7be vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b6 - 90 battles

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7e8 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b6 - 79 battles

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7bc vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b6 - 75 battles

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac80e vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ba - 48 battles

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac811 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ba - 43 battles

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7f5 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ba - 41 battles

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac817 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ba - 40 battles

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac814 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ba - 39 battles

And that still doesn't tell the full story.

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ba and https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b6 appear again and again throughout the dataset, fighting different neighbors, different coalitions and different fronts.

Eventually, you stop seeing individual rivalries.
You start seeing an entire region where almost every neighbor has gone to war with every other neighbor.
If one area deserves to be called WarEra's powder keg, it's this one.
So Typical of The Balkans.

βŒ› Rivalries That Refused to Die βŒ›

Some wars burn brightly before disappearing. Others simply become part of everyday life.
Several rivalries stretched across 452 consecutive days, surviving almost the entire lifespan of this dataset.

Among them:

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b8 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac87a

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ef vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7f2

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac865 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b8

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac862 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8da

  • https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ef vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b8

These weren't isolated wars.
They became constants.
Governments changed.
Borders shifted.
Alliances came and went.
Yet these rivalries continued almost uninterrupted.
Some conflicts don't end.
Players simply get used to them.

🏹 David vs Goliath 🏹

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac889 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7e5

This was one of the biggest surprises hidden inside the data.

These two countries fought 49 battles.

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac889 won 25.

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7e5 won 24.

Looking only at the battle record, you'd assume these were two evenly matched opponents.

Then I looked at the map.

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac889 has grown from one region to fourteen.

Meanwhile, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7e5 has disappeared from the territorial map altogether.

It isn't alone. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac855 https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac820 https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac81d https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af160c in total, 39 countries that once controlled land now control none.
By the Time I publish this article, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac862 might also be one of these landless nations. And mostly the Last Nation in the History of Warera to get Wiped completely.

Heheheheehhe Ironically, earlier we used to use the word "LANDLESS" alot !!
Now guess what who manifested it 🀣🀣

Meanwhile, the country that began with a single region quietly transformed itself into one of WarEra's largest territorial powers.
Sometimes history isn't written by the country that starts strongest. It's written by the one that's still standing when everyone else has disappeared.

πŸ‘€ Here We Go Again Award πŸ‘€

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ae vs Central Asia

Every dataset has one discovery that makes you laugh.
This was mine.

While browsing the rivalry table, I kept seeing the same country appear against a completely different opponent.
Then another....
Then another....
Then another....

Eventually I realized I wasn't looking at isolated rivalries.
I was looking at a pattern.

Against https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8c4 , the record stands at 91-5.
Against https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8ce , it's 71-7.
Against https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8c1 , 62-20.
Against https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8be , 50-17.
Even against https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac868 , the record finishes 64-12.

Five different countries.
Five overwhelmingly one-sided rivalries. Spread across thousands of kilometers.
By the fourth entry, my spreadsheet had stopped surprising me.
Whenever https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ae appeared in a matchup, it almost seemed safe to pencil another victory into the table.

πŸ“Ž Legacy Neighbors AwardπŸ“Ž

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac79c vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ae

It's easy to imagine these two countries glancing over the fence every morning and asking the same question.

"Fancy another war?"

Apparently, the answer was "yes" for more than 425 days.
Across 32 battles, neither side managed to gain a lasting advantage. The rivalry ended perfectly balanced at 16 victories each, while producing 3.12 billion total damage. Nearly one in every four battles was decided by the slimmest of margins, making this one of the most consistently competitive matchups in the entire report.
For over a year, they fought like equals.
They just didn't expand like equals.

This one battle alone contributed 1.35 billion damage in the pool --> https://app.warera.io/battle/6a66f336b13243762941c368

When this dataset begins, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ae controls six regions.
But Then when I opened the current world map. And everything changed.
Only one is still Polish.
https://app.warera.io/region/6813b7049403bc4170a5d720 ,
https://app.warera.io/region/6813b7049403bc4170a5d714 ,
https://app.warera.io/region/6813b7049403bc4170a5d723 ,
https://app.warera.io/region/6813b7049403bc4170a5d71d ,
https://app.warera.io/region/6813b7049403bc4170a5d717 .

All now belong to https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac79c , whose territory has grown from 7 regions to 19.

The irony is impossible to miss.
Above, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ae is handing out one-sided beatings to countries hundreds of kilometers away.
Meanwhile, the neighbor living right next door quietly moved the border five times.
Maybe that's the real lesson here.
Never ignore the person living next door while you're busy winning fights somewhere else.

It's one of the strangest contradictions in this report. The battle history says dominant regional power.
The modern map tells an entirely different story. Sometimes winning battles isn't enough.

[Edit: This portion was written on 29/7/26 and as for today https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7ae controls 0 regions.. Welcome to the Landless Club fellow mates 🀣🀣]

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7a0 vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac802

Some rivalries produce memorable stories. Others produce absurd amounts of damage.
These two countries fought 44 battles.

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7a0 won 25.
https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac802 won 19.

Perfectly respectable. Then you notice another number.

5.99 billion damage.

That's nearly six billion damage exchanged in just forty-four battles.
Only one rivalry in the entire dataset produced more destruction, and it needed over three times as many battles to do it.
On a per-battle basis, almost nobody hit harder.
Whenever these two met, the casualty reports were guaranteed to be expensive.

πŸ“Š Spreadsheet's Favorite Matchup πŸ“Š

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac85f vs https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac858

By the time I reached the end of this project, it felt like my spreadsheet was recommending this rivalry to me.
With 86 battles, it ranks among the most frequently repeated matchups in the entire database.

Across those encounters, more than 3.84 billion damage was exchanged.
Out of that a whooping 1.24 billion damage came from a single battle --> https://app.warera.io/battle/69edb8407b6a4ceddc6a34ed

The overall record stands at 56 victories for https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac858 against 30 for https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac85f .

Competitive enough to stay interesting. One-sided enough to establish a clear winner.

Then the present-day map adds another layer to the story.
When this dataset begins, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac85f controlled five regions.
Today?

None.

Every single one has changed hands.
Meanwhile, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac858 has expanded from 5 regions to 12.

The battle logs didn't just record a rivalry.
They documented a slow shift in regional power that only becomes obvious when viewed over hundreds of days.

πŸ’Ž Hidden Gem Rivalry πŸ’Ž

CHILE's WORLD TOUR

Some discoveries make perfect sense. This wasn't one of them.
Nobody talks much about https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac83c .
After digging through the battle logs, I think they probably should.
The obvious rivalry comes first.

At some point I stopped trying to find a geographical pattern.
There isn't one.
This country has fought opponents across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Oceania and beyond.
It's less a regional rivalry log and more a travel itinerary.

[Thanking https://app.warera.io/user/695579c03f0cff6efb694b3a particularly for this image --- as I took it from https://warera.realmarijn.nl/tijdlijn ]

Then I looked at today's map. Everything suddenly made sense.
https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac83c has expanded from five regions to twenty-four, making it one of the largest territorial powers in the modern world.
And somehow, along the way, it also acquired huge parts of eastern https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac868 .

If I'd read that sentence before opening the spreadsheet, I probably wouldn't have believed it.
Thankfully, the spreadsheet keeps receipts.

🌍 The Baltic vs The Bear 🌍

If Poland's story was the biggest twist in this report, the rise of the Baltic states deserves its own documentary.
For most of this dataset, one rivalry towers above the rest.

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b8 fought https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac868 154 times.

The final record ?

139 victories for https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b8
Just 15 for https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac868

That alone would make it one of the most dominant rivalries in WarEra history.

Then another statistic appears.

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7c0 fought https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac868 50 times.

The result ?

47 victories to 3.
Combined, the two Baltic nations handed https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac868 an astonishing 186 defeats while suffering just 18 losses themselves.

The battlefield was one thing. The map tells an even bigger story.

Today, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7c0 controls 32 regions, making it the largest empire currently on the WarEra map.
Larger than https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac83c .
Larger than https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac79c .
Larger than everyone else.

Even more remarkably, several historic Russian regions now fly the Latvian flag, including https://app.warera.io/region/6813b70a9403bc4170a5da17 .
Meanwhile, https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac868 has been reduced to a single remaining territory.
https://app.warera.io/region/6813b70a9403bc4170a5da0e .

From one of the largest countries on the map...
To one isolated exclave.

If there is a single rivalry that demonstrates how dramatically WarEra's balance of power has shifted, this is it.

Aaaandddd Now...
INDIA

🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

I promised at the beginning that I'd remain objective.
Time to put that promise to the test.
Naturally, the first country I looked up was https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac862 .

The statistics are genuinely impressive.
Its biggest rivalry is against https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af15d1

85 battles.
72 victories for India.
Only 13 defeats.

Next comes https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8da .

71 battles.
53 victories for India.
Just 18 losses.

Those are dominant records by almost any standard.
If this report ranked countries purely by win percentage, India would sit comfortably near the top.

Unfortunately for my patriotic expectations, that's not how the Rivalry Index works.
A rivalry needs tension.
A 72-13 record isn't tense.

It's predictable.
Neither of India's biggest rivalries breaks into the very top tier because neither one remains genuinely competitive.

Then I checked today's map πŸ₯²

That's where things became difficult to ignore. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac862 originally controlled ten regions.
Today, only one remains --> https://app.warera.io/region/6813b70a9403bc4170a5d9de

The rest have been divided among countries that India often defeated on the battlefield.

https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af15d1 now controls https://app.warera.io/region/6813b70a9403bc4170a5d9db .
https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8da controls https://app.warera.io/region/6813b70a9403bc4170a5d9ea and https://app.warera.io/region/6813b70a9403bc4170a5d9d8 .
https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac8a6 controls https://app.warera.io/region/6813b70a9403bc4170a5d9e4 .
https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac829 controls https://app.warera.io/region/6813b70a9403bc4170a5d9ed .

I won't pretend that wasn't painful to discover.
I wanted the data to tell a different story.
Instead, it reminded me why statistics matter.
They don't care who you're supporting.
They simply describe what happened.

[After publishing this article https://app.warera.io/region/6813b70a9403bc4170a5d9de was conquered by https://app.warera.io/country/683ddd2c24b5a2e114af15d1, So now India is also Landless !!]

🌎 Honorable Mentions 🌎

Not every rivalry fits neatly into an award category. Some simply deserve recognition.

Some rivalries receive constant attention. Others quietly become classics while nobody is watching.

βŒ› Then vs Now βŒ›

Perhaps the biggest surprise wasn't hidden inside any single rivalry.
It emerged when I compared the first day of the dataset with today's world map.
Back then, countries like https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac868 , https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac820 , https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7e5 and https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac81d were among the world's largest territorial powers.

Today ?

One holds a single region.
Several hold none.
In their place stand countries that few people would have predicted fifteen months ago.

https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7eb .

This wasn't a minor adjustment to the balance of power.
It was an entirely new world order.
The battle logs simply recorded it one battle at a time.

Closing

When I started this project, I thought I'd end up with a neat little list of WarEra's biggest rivalries.
Instead, I accidentally found enough drama to fuel several seasons of reality TV.

12,946 battles.
180 countries.

Countless revenge arcs.
Questionable strategic decisions.
At least one rivalry that probably qualifies as a toxic relationship.

The funniest part?

The spreadsheet was right far more often than I wanted it to be.
It happily ignored my bias, laughed at my predictions, and repeatedly reminded me that winning yesterday doesn't always mean owning anything today.

If this report proves anything, it's that WarEra never really has a "quiet week."

Somewhere, right now, two countries are arguing over a region.
One side is convinced it'll be over quickly.
The other side thinks exactly the same thing.

Statistically speaking...
...they'll probably still be fighting when I write The WarEra Rivalry Report 2027.

Dunno I would still be playing this by then but yeahhh !! False promises is what every politician does 🫣🫣

Until then, try not to get conquered.
Or if you do...
At least make it entertaining enough to earn an award next year.
