One redacted nation. Six tries. A new one every day.

Each guess reveals how close you were, so a wrong answer is still information.
Every guess is compared on the figures the suite keeps anyway: total damage, active players, average level, damage density, plus the region as a yes or no. A wrong guess narrows the field instead of merely being wrong, which is why six tries is enough to reason your way there and not enough to guess your way there.
Solving early is worth more: six points on the first try, one on the sixth, nothing if the day beats you.
There are deliberately no geography hints, no direction and no distance. There is no coordinate data behind the game, and inventing one would quietly turn a WarEra puzzle into a school atlas quiz. The subject here is the game, not the globe.
The answer never reaches your browser. Every guess is a question to the server and only the comparison comes back, which is the same rule the memory board follows: a daily national scoreboard is worthless the moment the solution is sitting in the page.
Points go to your country, which turns a solitary puzzle into a national one, and streaks are counted. At the end there is a share grid, because that is the part everybody actually wants.
Because the clues are things you half know from playing: population, damage, who they border, who they fight. Dossier rewards the knowledge you picked up without noticing, which is the best kind of puzzle to build for a game's own players.
