A film club for WarEra. Everybody brings one film, everybody votes, then you have a week to watch it and an article to argue in.

Propose, vote, watch, discuss. Five days to propose, three to vote, seven to watch, by default, and the host can move all three dates, on a running round as well as a new one.
The phase is derived from the dates, so nobody has to press a button for the round to advance, and nobody has to be online at the same time as anybody else. That is the whole reason a film club works across four time zones.
One thing is deliberately not derived: the winner. It is frozen the moment the vote deadline passes. A result that kept recomputing would change under the club as late votes and withdrawn proposals trickled in, and a film that was announced on Tuesday and lost on Wednesday is worse than no announcement.

Tick everything you would watch, not just your favourite. That is approval voting, and it is chosen on purpose: it picks the film most people are happy with instead of the one a determined minority pushed hardest.
The running count stays hidden until the round closes, so nobody votes for the winner just because it is winning. Ties go to whoever proposed first, which is arbitrary but public, and an arbitrary rule everybody knows beats a fair one nobody can check.
After the watch window everybody gives the film one to five, and the discussion runs on an article rather than in a chat that scrolls away.
That is the part that turns it from a poll into a club: a film with a shared score and an argument attached is something the group can point back at three months later.
Films that were not picked stay on the page, under Earlier proposals.
While proposals are open, any member can put one of them back on the table with one click. It then counts as that member's film for the round, and the card names who proposed it first.

Anyone can join now, no club code needed. Type your WarEra name and you get a short code. Put it in one of your company names, in your profile description, or donate the odd amount shown to your country or unit, then press CHECK. That proves the account is yours, the same way as on WarMatch and Vote Match. It takes a minute, and this browser stays in the club afterwards.
So nobody can vote under your name, and every account has one voice. If you were a member before, you keep your proposals, votes and ratings. The host still holds a separate code and steers the rounds.

Vorschlagen, abstimmen, schauen, diskutieren.
