WARERA.UNIKHORNE: The v0.25.5 alliance rebalance, in numbers

Patch v0.25.5 rewrites the alliance damage bonus. From 1 September, 00:00 UTC:

- Full bonus: +20% (up from +10%)

- Held up to a world development share of 10% (down from 15%)

- Above that, every share point costs 4 points (was 0.5)

- Floor: -20% (was 0%)

Read that last line again. An oversized alliance is no longer merely unrewarded. It fights at a damage malus.

WHAT THAT MEANS FOR THE MAP TODAY

We priced every alliance under the new curve, with live development data:

The Inglourious Basterds sit at 23.5% of world core development and land on the -20% floor. B.E.E.R (21.1%) and The Olive Union (20.0%) join them there. All three fight at +6 to +8 today. ATLAS is 0.4 points over the line and starts September at +18%.

Everyone below 10% simply doubles, from +10% to +20%.

THE WINDOW IS OPEN UNTIL SEPTEMBER 3RD

The devs lifted the 7-day alliance cooldown until 3 September, 00:00 UTC. Leaving, being kicked or disbanding does not block joining or founding another alliance until then. This is the moment to redraw the map, and the maths is not obvious: splitting a 21% bloc in half still leaves both halves over the line.

The Olive Union, for example, splits cleanly: two halves at 10.0% each, both at the full +20%. B.E.E.R in halves lands at +18 and needs three pieces for the full bonus.

One footnote: the patch note says "world development share" without giving a formula. We count the alliance's summed core development divided by world development. Thanks to excelsior97 for the correction (core, not current); the desk was updated the same evening.
