It's me again, /user/69d2ed249f38d300d59a2af1. Ten days since v1.3 https://app.warera.io/article/6ad1fe9f37aa9538df265d79, and the v1.4 has yet another thread. The last release was about what moves on the map. This one is about what you can do with it: until now WarEra+ was a window onto the game, and now you can plan an operation, sign a pact, hold a vote, follow a tournament. All of it stays outside the real game and touches nothing of yours.
There's also a second, less fun half: the game's v0.27 update removed the labour market, brought employees and government types, and half of the tool had to be put back on its feet. That goes first.
Same map as ever: https://wareraplus.vercel.app/, free, no login for everything except the reserved area.

Not just a window anymore. A table to work on.
The game changed its rules, and plenty of things the tool showed stopped making sense. I rewrote them instead of letting them limp along.
Daily income replaces the production bonus. The map view that coloured the world by bonus now colours it by what a region actually earns in a day, with the nations ranking and the most profitable regions. In each nation's panel, in place of bonus and ethics, you'll find the income and the government type.
The Industrial Optimizer was rebuilt. With no labour market, the old tabs had nothing left to say. There are now two, written on the numbers the game measures day by day: Companies — what a point is worth and costs, the margin over the last seven days, signals for those losing money or standing idle — and Skills, to spread your points across Companies, Energy, Production and Management.
Government battle bonuses: the patriotic bonus of the Nationalist State, the Federation and the Plutocracy, the Patriotic Front's bunker bonus, the Mercenary State's double orders. They're in the Battle bonus view, next to the others.
And names on the map keep the nations' colours as in the game: the game stopped sending them ready-made, so I derive them from the nation's colour, lightened to stay readable. Production yields, Nation stats, Political, play style, borders and My nation were adapted too, and the Guide tells it in plain words.
Honest limit. The game doesn't show the number of employees of a company anymore, so the Production tab counts those that produced yesterday, and says so.

The bonus is gone. What is there now, you can see.
▌ TOP SECRET ▐
FILE: OPERATIONS
CLASSIFICATION: P.A.S.T.A. NATIONS ONLY
CLEARANCE REQUIRED: ███████
Something new lives in the reserved area. It is a shared board where a government lays out an operation on the map, step by step, and the people who have access follow it together. The rest of the details are ████████ ██ ███ ██████████ ██ ███ ███████ ████ ███ ███ ████ ██ ████.
If you are a citizen of a P.A.S.T.A. nation, you already know where to look. If you are not, nothing to see here ██ move along.

Some plans are better read by few, and this is a fake one.. or maybe not.
Until now the NAPs on the map came from a sheet i updated by hand. It was the most fragile part of the whole tool, and I knew it.
The new Agreements section is the archive of pacts/NAP: nation with nation, nation with alliance, alliance with alliance, each with its text, start and end dates, the rogue units left out and, if there is one, a damage cap per battle. Each side can have extra nations added, for proxies and allies outside the alliance. A pact in force becomes a NAP on the map by itself, and goes away by itself when it expires. The CSV is gone: Agreements are now the only source.
And there's a check: it flags direct attacks between the two sides and exceeded caps. Reading is public; writing is for the government of one of the nations involved — a pact has two sides, and the other one must be able to write it too.
Honest limit. The cap check sums damage by nationality and can't remove the units left out of the pact, so it's an estimate. It says so.

One pact, two signatures, and the map updates.
Political has a new Votes button. The government can open a vote, and the congress, the congress plus government or all citizens (a referendum) can cast it, by open or secret ballot. This is all RolePlay material!
You need to be regstered with discord on the tool to vote!
The count isn't a table that appears. In an open vote a hemicycle lights up live, with votes going to their seat one at a time; in a secret vote there's a ballot box: one ballot at a time is drawn, flips over and flies to its pile. It's theatre, I know, but a vote you watch being counted is a vote you trust more. When everyone has voted, whoever opened it can bring the count forward.
The government can set a Discord channel for notices: opening, count start, result. And on the secret ballot, a promise worth making: the system doesn't know who voted what, because of how it's built, not because it says so.
Honest limit. In a referendum the number of voters entitled is an estimate, so there's no absolute majority there.

A count you watch, not read.
A new entry under Insights, Tournaments, with two tabs: Military units and Nations, each on the latest tournament of its kind. The bracket is split into sectors; pick a team (or "My unit") and you see its path round by round and, for every future round, who it could meet, strongest first, with a difficulty band.
Then the probabilities: the chance of winning each match, and along the bracket how likely a team is to reach each round and to win it all. A team's strength is the damage of the last seven days of the entrants only, plus how it has played so far in the tournament. And there's a "What if…?": pick the winners yourself and the probabilities downstream recompute.
Honest limit. The tool writes each prediction as soon as a match has both teams and never touches it again, and the ranking shows how many it got right. In the October MU tournament the favourite won 250 matches out of 329. It isn't magic: it's a model that tells you every day how wrong it was. And the rolling-week strength fills up over time: until a full week of archive exists, the previous week's part is an estimate, and the view says so.

Not a crystal ball. But you can check how wrong it was.
Two things from v1.3 got better. The replay now has the wall going back and forth as in the game's own card, with territories and units, an animation at the end of each round, and it also opens from the archive. And the chart is now explorable: zoom, pan, box, expand. Battle timeline and bounty timeline are two tabs, with the nations' names, and money spent has a section of its own, per side, with switches to turn items on and off. Tables sort. The end of the round and of the battle are written in the list and above the map markers.
And the same hover-to-read idea is now everywhere: in parliament, war expenses, the donuts, player wealth, the history of party members. Hover or tap and the value appears. It looks small and changes how you use every view.

A battle is a story. Now it has a wall that moves.
The 1 vs 1 is now a single thing for all comparisons — players, units, nations, alliances — with the same look and rules, and units get damage over time: how they did week after week, not only today. In the units list there's a per member column (weekly damage divided by members, sortable) and in a unit's page the average over only those who actually hit: a 50-person unit and a 500-person one can finally be compared.
Damage and devcore are in the stats of nations and alliances, and in the alliance popup there's a Dmg/Core column per nation. Long tables scroll inside a box with an always visible bar. In the nation panel on a laptop there's less to click through, and the third button is now called Statistics and opens the right tab.
Sea routes now really cross the sea, not the land, and the ships move smoothly on their own layer, at a speed I tweaked several times until it looked right at world view. It's the least useful thing on this list and one of my favourites. And the particle background adapts its nodes and lines to your screen, so it doesn't make your phone sweat.
One more thing I didn't write myself. The WarEra community has made wonderful things and there was no single place to find them. Under Insights there's now Other tools, with one card per site — EMPRESS, SPYWarera, Unikhorne WarEra Suite, Arcana Era — with a line on what it does and the link. They're third-party tools, not affiliated with WarEra+, and the page says so on top. If you've built one too, write to me.

Backups. The server's data (the archives that exist nowhere else) is now copied every day to an external bucket, not just to the same disk.
History that builds up. Some new sections fill up with time, because the game doesn't keep history and the tool collects it day by day: Agreements, Votes, Operations and the rolling week of Tournaments. If one looks empty on day one, that's normal, and it usually says so at the top.
As always, everything is on https://wareraplus.vercel.app/. If something doesn't add up, or there's a question you'd like the tool to answer, write to me.
