Today I want to start a new series where I cover some stats every week. Last week I noticed that we've crossed over 1.3 billion damage as an community. That got me interested, so I started to track this.

Last week we had https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac858 topping the damage leaderboard with a fierce battle for their capital with the https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7e5, This week it was https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7aa trying to defend their capital against https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d546e731854c7ac832, this was unsuccessful. https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7b6, ranked #2 this week also showed its strength. The whole Balkan region was a mess this week and it was almost impossible to follow everything that happened.
As the player base keeps growing, and more people are reaching higher levels, Weekly DMG will continue to grow. However, as some of you know, an update is coming which will make the difference in damage a high level player can do in comparison to a lower level player smaller. I hope to give clear insights with this article into how this update will affect total damage. When the update drops, I will make a comparison in DMG done before and after, especially for high level players.
This is my first real attempt at creating an article in this style, so I would really appreciate some feedback. You can suggest things I can add, things I can do differently, whatever you want! I would like to make this a weekly thing to give some players insights into the broader picture. For people reading it later, this list may be flawed, there will be three more refreshes before the weekly refresh.
Here are some things I could maybe implement:
- Top 3 battles with most total damage
- Leaderboard with countries with most appearances in the top 10 weekly damage.
- A graph with each weeks total damage
- Bounty related stats
