1. What made you decide to take on the Vice President position this term, and what are you most looking forward to?

Firstly, I was asked to be VP. I was President of Guinea-Bissau and was VP the term before that. I'm good with people — excluding children, obviously. Looking at Egypt.

Scar asked me to assist because he trusts my judgement and, more importantly, knows I'm straightforward when it comes to pretty much anything.

I'm mainly looking forward to helping where I can and hopefully making https://app.warera.io/user/694006728e400302d51946de's job a little easier.

2. What do you see as the main responsibility of a Vice President, and how do you plan to approach the role?

I see the VP role as a combination of MoFA, MoD, MoE, and basically whatever else is needed from me.

I'm not going into this expecting to have one specific job. If there is a gap that needs filling, I'll fill it. If something needs dealing with, I'll deal with it.

3. How would you describe your working relationship with the President, and what do you think makes a strong President–VP team?

My relationship with https://app.warera.io/user/694006728e400302d51946de is good, and I believe it's good with most of the cabinet as well.

The most important thing in a good team is trust. We have each other's backs, and honestly, that's what matters.

We don't need to agree on everything. We just need to trust each other enough to know that we're working toward the same goal.

4. If you and the President strongly disagreed on an important decision, how would you handle it?

Rock, Paper, Scissors, Shoot.

Problem solved.

If that doesn't work, then I suppose we'd actually have to talk about it.

5. What do you think is currently the biggest challenge facing the country, and what would you like to see done about it?

The amount of people who want to quit the game.

Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do to prevent people from leaving if they've simply lost interest. I myself am getting tired of the game because it seems to get boring faster with every update.

That's probably the biggest problem WarEra has right now. It's difficult to build anything long-term if the players you're building it for are losing interest.

6. How do you plan to stay connected with ordinary citizens and make sure their concerns are actually being heard?

Personally, I prefer not working with people.

That's why we have Congress. They need to gather that information and pass it on to the cabinet. From there, we can work out a way to actually address the concerns.

Currently, I think a lot of people are bored and feel like we're never going to win a fight against the alliances we currently have.

That's something we need to look at, because nobody wants to keep fighting a war where the outcome feels decided before it starts.

7. The VP can sometimes be seen as “second in command.” Do you see the role as supporting the President, leading alongside them, or something else entirely?

I see the role as filling the gaps where the President is busy with other things.

Unfortunately, sleep is important in life, so we're all going to miss something that gets pinged at midnight.

The VP should be there to pick those things up when the President can't. I'm not here to compete with https://app.warera.io/user/694006728e400302d51946de. I'm here to make sure things don't fall through the cracks.

8. What is one thing you would like to accomplish this term that players will still remember after your time in office is over?

My role after this term is basically to become another number in the background and help wherever I'm needed.

And honestly, I'm perfectly fine with that.

9. WarEra politics can get messy very quickly. How do you handle criticism, conflict, or political drama when things start heating up?

I personally don't care too much about what people say or criticise me for.

The fewer people who want to argue with me, the better for me.

I don't have the patience for pointless political drama or what I would describe, in Afrikaans, as kinder kak.

If there is an actual problem, come to me and we'll deal with it. If it's just drama for the sake of drama, I'll probably ignore it.

10. Finally, if you could give the citizens one reason to trust you as their Vice President, what would it be?

Do as you please.

This term is almost over anyway.

But if you actually want a serious answer: trust me because I'm straightforward. I won't tell you what you want to hear just to make myself look good.

If I think something is stupid, I'll probably tell you it's stupid.

If I think something is a good idea, I'll say that too.

At least you'll always know where I stand.
