Konrad Curze - The Night Haunter

1.Childhood of Shadows
Konrad Curzes capsule crashed on the night-shrouded world of Nostramo, a planet consumed by crime, corruption and fear. Unlike many of his brothers, Curze had no family or mentor. He grew up alone in the darkness, surviving as a feral child before becoming a terrifying vigilante known as The Night Haunter. He hunted murderers, criminals, and corrupt nobles, displaying their mutilated bodies as warnings. Crime nearly vanished—not because people became better, but because they were terrified of him.

2.Vision of Doom
The moment Curze looked at the Emperor, he was struck by a blinding, agonizing prophetic vision of the Horus Heresy, his own death, and the galaxy burning.
Curze tried to claw his own eyes out. The Emperor stopped him, saying, "Konrad Curze, be at peace. I have arrived to take you home." Curze famously replied: "That is not my name, Father. I am the Night Haunter, and I know full well what you intend for me."

3.The Night Lords
They specialize in Psychological Warfare. The Night Lords rarely fought fair, they broadcasted the screams of tortured enemies across civilian vox-channels to force entire planetary sectors to surrender without a shot being fired.
Once Curze left Nostramo to lead the Great Crusade, the planet slipped right back into crime. The new recruits sent to his Legion weren't noble warriors—they were the worst murderers, rapists, and psychopaths from Nostramo's prisons. Curze grew to absolutely despise his own sons, viewing them as honorless scum.
Legion Motto: Ave Dominus Nox

4.Master of Shadows
Curze possessed incredibly powerful precognition. However, he only ever saw the worst possible futures. This drove him mad, as he believed fate was entirely set in stone.
While his brother Corvus Corax used psychic invisibility, Curze relied on pure, terrifying physical mastery of his environment. He used unnatural speed, lighting, and environmental geometry to seemingly melt into absolute darkness, catching even his brother Primarchs completely off guard. Of all his nineteen brothers, Konrad Curze harbored his deepest, most toxic hatred for Corvus Corax—a hatred born of pure envy.
He fought with twin Lightning Claws (Mercy and Forgiveness) and preferred a feral, erratic combat style that made him incredibly unpredictable and lethal in close quarters

Konrad Curze was one of the most terrifyingly lethal duelists among the Primarchs, fueled by absolute savagery and his erratic, unpredictable combat style. Fighting with twin lightning claws, he completely lacked any sense of martial honor, relying instead on blinding speed, dirty tactics, and psychological terror. His precognitive visions gave him a deadly edge, allowing him to anticipate his opponents' strikes before they even threw them. Curze’s martial lethality was proven on the battlefield: he famously bested the legendary fighter Rogal Dorn, nearly killed Lorgar, and successfully fought both Roboute Guilliman and Lion El'Jonson to a bloody standstill at the exact same time.

5.The Horus Heresy
Even before Horus openly rebelled, Curze had already snapped. Horrified by what his Legion had become and pushed to madness by his visions, he ordered his fleet to orbitally bombard and destroy his own homeworld, Nostramo.
Curze joined the Heresy not because he cared about Horus’s vision, but because he believed the Emperor was a hypocrite and that the universe was inherently cruel and broken.

6.Death of the Night Haunter
Curze wanted to die to prove that his visions were right and that the Emperor was a tyrant. He allowed a Callidus Assassin named M'Shen to infiltrate his palace on the world of Tsagualsa. Curze made no attempt to resist, believing it proved his point: the Emperor condemned him for using terror, yet ultimately sent an assassin to murder his own son.

He lived and died a helpless prisoner of his mind. :Badday:
