1.The Angel of Baal
Sanguinius's pod landed on Baal Secundus, a harsh, radioactive desert moon populated by mutant tribes and desperate human scavengers called the Blood. When the tribe found him, they almost killed him because of his most striking mutation a pair of pure white, angelic wings growing from his back.Growing at an incredible primarch rate, he quickly became a god-like figure to the locals. He unified the scattered human tribes, defended them against the mutated monsters of Baal, and became their undisputed, beloved ruler.2.Meeting the Emperor
When the Emperor arrived on Baal, Sanguinius immediately recognized him for who he was. Unlike some brothers who fought or tested the Emperor, Sanguinius fell to his knees in immediate loyalty.
Sanguinius deeply feared that the Emperor would destroy him or his legion because of their genetic flaws and mutations (the wings, and the underlying genetic hunger of his sons). Instead, the Emperor embraced him, seeing only perfection and a critical weapon for the Great Crusade.3.The Blood Angels
Before Sanguinius took command, the IX Legion was known as the "Revenant Legion." They were brutal, unstable cannibal-warriors who ate the dead to gain their memories and were viewed as monsters. Sanguinius completely transformed them. He introduced art, poetry, philosophy, and high culture, turning a band of feral killers into the Blood Angels—the most noble, artistic, and disciplined champions of the Imperium. The Blood Angels specialized in lightning-fast assault warfare, using jump packs and unmatched melee skill to overwhelm enemies before they could react. Renowned for their speed, precision, and courage, they were among the Imperium's deadliest shock troops, excelling in close-quarters combat and decisive strikes.
Legion Motto: For the Emperor and Sanguinius! Death! Death!

4.The Great Angel
Sanguinius was arguably the best pure fighter among the Primarchs, blending angelic flight with lethal, blinding speed. Even Angron and Horus respected his martial prowess. He possessed psychic precognition, allowing him to see glimpses of the future. Cruelly, this meant he spent years knowing exactly how, when, and where he would die.
He is widely considered one of the top three duelists among all 20 Primarchs. He wielded the Blade Encarmine and the Spear of Telesto with unrivaled grace and lethality.
Sanguinius possessed a near-hypnotic majesty. He radiated a psychic aura of pure, blinding perfection that could make regular humans weep, calm angry crowds, and fill his allies with unstoppable courage.

5.The Horus Heresy and The Siege of Terra
Horus knew Sanguinius was too loyal to ever corrupt, so he engineered a trap. He sent the Blood Angels to the Signus Cluster, where they were ambushed by hordes of Daemons led by Khorne’s Bloodthirster, Ka'Bandha.
During the battle, Ka'Bandha psychically slaughtered thousands of Blood Angels at once. The backlash of this pain knocked Sanguinius unconscious and triggered a temporary madness in his sons—the precursor to what would later become the Black Rage. Sanguinius eventually awoke, broke Ka'Bandha's back across his knee, and banished the daemon. While Rogal Dorn was the brains of the defense, Sanguinius was its fiery heart. He was the ultimate MVP of the Siege of Terra, flying from wall to wall to rally exhausted defenders and single-handedly turning the tide of the war through legendary feats of martial perfection.
In a clash of pure savagery, Sanguinius faced his Daemon Primarch brother, Angron. Despite being battered and exhausted, the Angel outmaneuvered the red beast, grabbed the Butcher's Nails embedded in Angron's skull, and ripped them out to banish him.
As the inner palace fell, Sanguinius stood completely alone at the closing Eternity Gate. He single-handedly held off an entire army of traitors and daemons, refusing to let a single enemy breach the inner sanctum until the gate was safely sealed. What makes this legendary is that Sanguinius did it all knowing he would survive the walls only to die at Horus's hands. He chose to give everything to save humanity, fully aware of the tragic price he would pay.

6.Death of the Angel
Sanguinius joined the Emperor and Rogal Dorn in teleporting aboard Horus’s flagship for the final confrontation. They were separated by warp trickery, and Sanguinius reached Horus first.
Horus, bloated on the power of all four Chaos Gods, offered Sanguinius a final chance to join him. Sanguinius flatly refused, knowing his visions of his own death were about to come true. Though Sanguinius was exhausted and heavily outmatched, he fought valiantly. He managed to chip a small dent into Horus's terminator armor before Horus brutally choked and broke the Angel's body.
The sheer agony of Sanguinius’s death sent a permanent, violent psychic shockwave through the geneseed of every living Blood Angel. This traumatic echo created the Black Rage—a permanent curse where a Blood Angel completely loses his mind, reliving Sanguinius's final moments, fighting and screaming as if they are the Angel himself on the Vengeful Spirit.

7.The Most Beloved Brother
Sanguinius was the rare golden bridge universally loved by all. He won the respect of even the most cynical Primarchs, while Horus openly confessed that the Angel was the only brother truly worthy of being named Warmaster. His nobility was so absolute that giants like Roboute Guilliman and Lion El'Jonson willingly put aside their pride to bow to him—proving that Sanguinius was deeply loved not just for his strength, but for his pure, selfless soul.
Your boy is back, i got you! :War:
