Hello new Canadian! This is an article that Canada has set to be the welcome article when you first join the game.
First things first, we have a really fun and active discord focused on WarEra Canada. I strongly encourage you to join, even if you plan to play the game casually. It will make it a lot more fun and we have a great community.
WarEra is a game that you can play very casually or play very seriously. Regardless of who you are, you are welcome.
Also, please reach out to any of the current government in order to get set-up with an MU. Military Units are typically just extensions of the country, and we want to get you in the right one.
Couple things to help get you started past what the tutorial already does.
1) Focus on your economy to start. That means hitting in battles completely unarmed with no food, building more passive income via building more companies and getting your companies upgraded, and selling everything else. Recommend your companies be in iron, limestone, steel, or concrete. They are the most profitable on average. You need the company passive income to support your war efforts later.
2) Make sure your companies are getting the max production bonus they can. See below, I am getting 64.75%. The game will recommend you the best spots. Just pick those. Countries can change the bonus or what product it applies to, so make sure to check often to make sure you are still getting the bonus
3) This game hides a lot of information. On mobile, you can hard-press to see more information. On desktop, you can just mouse over. Here is an example with the production bonus we were just looking at.
4) Focus on leveling up. That’s the most important thing. Do your daily/weekly missions to help level you up.
5) Your HP/Energy/etc bars fill up full every 10 hours. Ideally you login once every 10 hours.
6) The most common mistake new players make is trying to focus on war too soon. When the game starts, sell everything the game gives you. Sell all the steak, the bullets, the cases, the equipment, everything. Just focus on buying materials for improving your companies and whatever else you need for missions.
