Honestly when I started War Era I was totally lost. Wasted gold messed up my stats and had no idea how companies even worked. Reached level 14 today so here is the real stuff I learned so you don't ruin your account like I did.
First off fix your account. If you got auto placed in the wrong country just tap the one you want on the map scroll down to Citizenship and hit apply. Also change your name in settings it gives you free XP just for doing it.
For leveling up literally just do your daily and weekly missions. That is your main XP source. Also grab the free case from the shop tab every day. You can open it or sell it on the market for quick gold.
The biggest mistake I made was putting skill points into fighting. Do NOT do that early on. Go full eco mode. Dump your points into Production first then Energy then Entrepreneurship. Only upgrade the Company Limit skill when you actually have the concrete ready to build a new one.
To make cash hit Companies Job Find Job and grab the top paying offer (just check the green tax so they don't steal your paycheck). Don't bother hiring workers they bleed your money(until level 20 do not ). Instead build an Iron company and a Steel company. Use the iron you make to craft steel then sell the steel on the market. Also use your steel to upgrade your company Auto Engine to level 4 or 6(you should atleast focus on level 4 to build any 4th company ) it literally makes free stuff for you while you sleep.
When you do fight don't waste health randomly. Go to Battles Orders and stick to P1 or P2 targets and look for fights with bounties so you get paid cash for doing damage(and it also increases your military level )
