Greetings to everyone, I was asked to adapt this article into English, so some points may be unclear to you. If something is unclear, ask in the chat, and I'll try to answer. Let's finish the prelude, let's begin.
When analyzing the article book, I came to the conclusion that there are mainly 3 types of articles that prevail now.
Guides and tips for the game
"My first article"
Pour bytes for the crates
Since the game is relatively fresh, it makes sense that the articles "hello world" or "how to press buttons" will prevail, but this state of affairs cannot last forever, there will be some development. Sooner or later, most of the guides will be written, articles with "my first article" will stop gaining so many likes, and what will remain after that, polit byte?

Therefore, I have prepared several scenarios for the development of events with the journalism of the War Era:

This is rather a neutral option and the most likely one. If you don't remember or don't know, then I'll tell you again. In the beginning, journalism will grow as much as possible, for the first time in years, but at some point it will reach the peak of its potential when journalists reach the ceiling ... the functionality of the article will be outdated, the topics for articles will run out, part of the audience will go to telegram, it is unprofitable to engage in journalism and it is interesting only to altruists, new journalists will come less and less if at all.
And so journalism will slowly rot, occasionally producing popular articles, but then disappearing into oblivion. The article will not die, but will turn into a pale copy of itself.

In this scenario, journalism as such will not even be able to originate, the article will not reach its peak.
there are not enough functions for writing various articles,
there are no newspapers "although not so critical"
moderation will be tightened
stricter rules will be introduced
arbitrariness of moderation
lack of hype and interest in the article
limited gameplay, what to tell if the new updates do not include features
This is rather a bad scenario, in which there is no place for the golden era of journalism, since no one gave it the opportunity to appear. If the article does not develop in further beta updates and the administration's paranoia about violations of the rules increases, then this scenario may well come true.

This is a positive scenario in which journalism will become an integral part of the gameplay of the game. A comfortable environment for journalists will be created, and monetization of journalists will be encouraged. For example: Advertising parties, Hiring journalists for propaganda. The leaders of parties and states are interested in journalists and their media resources, or they run media companies themselves.
It sounds good, and it's more like it's an ideal option that has a right to exist, but it doesn't have to be realistic. Okay, but what needs to be done to make journalism "flourish" and at least come close to the ideal?

To begin with... how did pp actually come to this, and why did everything turn out the way it did?
Lack of an award system.
Fortunately, in the new Era, this problem has been fixed, you can tell the journalist you like directly in the article. Personally, I would give the opportunity to donate more or enter an arbitrary amount.
Inconvenient article editing system
In the RR, it is obsolete and has not been updated for many years, now in the new Era the interface is more up-to-date, but if the administration does not update it from time to time, the functions will soon become obsolete and there will be a lack of options. "For example, to change the color of the text"
Buying likes for an article
At some point, there is a black market for buying the pros and cons of articles, which creates unequal conditions for journalists who have more money and have more classes on articles. Of course, the RR administration tried to fight this, but they got it very wrong, and the market still exists. The administration of the War Era should think about how to extinguish such a market and promptly ban mult accounts to boost the rating.
There is no history textbook
There is no chronicle of events, which increases the threshold for entering the game, while it does not threaten the game, but over time, this threshold will increase.… In the case of the War Era, this is partially implemented. In reality, there are more options and reasons why this happened, but I specifically considered 4
That's all, and what do you think is the future of the magazine and journalism in the New Era? Share it in the comments! Damn, I'm tired of translating this, ahem, you can throw a couple of coins at me or subscribe, I won't mind, as long as..
