How the Controversy Escalated

At the beginning, the situation started with what appeared to be ragebait directed toward Libya. However, as the reactions continued, the provocations gradually escalated beyond Libya and began targeting the broader Arab and Muslim community.

The situation did not stop there. After moderators allegedly failed to take action against Forkill and others involved in these incidents, the behavior continued and developed into a broader series of posts and messages directed specifically at Muslims.

What initially appeared to be isolated provocation eventually became a repeated pattern of religious and cultural ragebait.

Below, I will show examples of how these messages were directed specifically toward Muslims and explain the context behind them.

A Clarification: This Is Not About the LGBTQ Community

To be completely clear, this article is not an attack on the LGBTQ community, either now or in the past. The point of my previous article was not to target, insult, or discriminate against anyone based on their identity.

The issue I am raising is specifically about the treatment of the Arab and Muslim community within the game.

My argument is that Forkill and some members of the moderation team targeted Arab and Muslim players through harassment, racist or discriminatory behavior, and repeated provocative content, while similar actions by members of our community were met with punishments. At the same time, I believe that some of the people involved in the incidents against us did not receive comparable consequences.
I am not saying that every moderator was involved or supported this behavior. I am specifically referring to certain moderators and certain incidents.
We are not trying to play the victim. We are saying that we were victims of specific incidents of harassment and discriminatory treatment, and we are asking for those incidents to be examined fairly.
This is also no longer simply about “drama.” For many of us, it has become a matter of principle and basic respect.
This is not about Muslims being against the LGBTQ community, nor is it about asking for special treatment. It is about expecting the same standards of respect, protection, and moderation to apply to Arab and Muslim players as they do to every other community.
Our criticism is directed at the specific behavior, the moderation decisions surrounding it, and the perceived inconsistency in enforcement not at an entire community.

Ultimately, we are asking for one simple principle:

The rules should apply equally to everyone, regardless of their religion, nationality, or identity.
