You don't need to suck the dev's ass or show appreciation for a product that you are paying for (Regardless of the premium aspect, which many players pay, I know this game is F2P but you're still paying with your time and investment - time and investment that could be devoted and directed to any other half decent game in the internet).

If I were you all I'd be more worried that we're all heavily invested in a game created and led by someone who crashes out at online criticism instead of being professional about it.

The key to a quality game is to hold the creators and the dev team to a very high standard. That means criticism and honest feedback.
