Before working today, check your wage, jobs are currently reaching 0.160 per PP, while some players are still working for around 0.107. That's a very big difference for doing the same work.
If this save you some coins, leave a tip. I spent my morning staring at numbers so you don't have to.
I checked today's labour market and the gap is bigger than I expected. The highest wages recorded during the last 24 hours reached 0.160/PP.
At the bottom, workers have been accepting around 0.107/PP. The current short-term average is around 0.135/PP.
What does that actually mean?
Take someone producing 100 PP.
At 0.107/PP: 10.70 coins
At 0.135/PP: 13.50 coins
At 0.160/PP: 16.00 coins
That's 5.30 extra coins per 100 PP between the bottom and top end.
At 500 PP, the difference becomes 26.50 coins, same production, Different employer.
Who benefits?
If you're currently sitting around 0.107–0.120, I'd check the job market before working again.
If you're already around 0.135, you're much closer to what workers have recently been getting.
And if you manage to catch something near 0.160, you're sitting at the high end of what has actually been paid during the last 24 hours.
Don't quit a decent job blindly just because you saw a bigger number, though. Offers disappear, requirements can differ and 0.160 is the observed high end, not a guaranteed permanent wage.
EXTRA INFORMATION:
War Era Stats currently shows roughly 519,822 in wages paid over the last 24 hours and more than 4.18 million units of trade volume.
